When you need a change from taverna food, come here for a little more sophistication. The owners seem to have given much thought to the cooking of their grandmothers and the use of fresh local produce. Everything we had was delicious. My octopus with rice was superb, my husband loved the beef in mavrodafne wine. The location is peaceful, just at the foot of the cathedral steps. Service was helpful and efficient.

Lovely setting in the street below the church. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff.
Food is locally sourced, and beautifully cooked. We had stuffed vine leaves and the slow cooked chickpeas which were sublime!. Lovely bottle of white wine. Our mains were a Greek salad and a grilled pork chop. The marinaded pork was very tender and delicious. We shared a dessert of peaches, crumble and lemony, creamy yoghurt. It came to 66 euros which we thought was excellent value for the quality and quantity of food.
We will try and get back before we leave Naoussa.

High quality Greek cuisine in a relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. Great choice of starters and main dishes. Located at end of quiet square. We weee especially impressed by how helpful the owner and wait staff were in helping us choose foods that met our allergy needs.

We ate here and enjoyed the best meal in our time on Paros.
The slow cooked chick peas were delicious and perfect in every way and complimented the Zucchini fritters really well.
The whole meal was outstanding.
We'll be back next year

Kapari is the Greek word for caper and also the name of the chef of this taverna! It will be no coincidence then that the delightfully prepared dishes are sure to tickle a tastebud or two. The salads are lovely and they offer the choice of feta or soured mizythra - the latter worthy of a try being local, creamy and with a little tang.

Fresher fresh will be difficult to find especially since the chef is a native of Paros and knows where to go for the best of everything.

The waiters are very friendly, courteous and do everything possible to ensure an enjoyable meal as though you are personal guests.

The setting is beautiful with tables immediately in front of the taverna in the "square" affording comfortable seating - a scarce commodity in Naousa where push and shove, in picturesque but narrow alleyways, is often the name of the game.

The house wine and is very drinkable, as is the souma and a selection of beer is on offer.

If you seek authentic Greek cuisine Kapari will be worth a visit - but beware you won't want to leave.
