We have been island hopping in Greece and booking things very last minute.. gone from the hideous hotel mediterranee in kefalonia to the fabulous rocabella art in mykonos..this place falls somewhere in the middle... it was just ok.
It is close to the sea across a small road but I wouldn't class it as a seaside resort. The nearest beach is Kolimbythres and it's a long walk - we taxi'd there. The furnishings were all pleasant, the pool was nice, the food was passable. I'm not sure why it gets all the rave reviews though. We had a junior suite garden view at first...the garden view was just a bush. The windows were covered in beige fabric that meant the rooms were rather dark and dingy. Other than this it was all just ok. We cut our 4 nights down to 3 and are now sitting in santorini (next review!)More
