I was on holidays with my family in Paros from 09/08/13.We choose to stay in HOTEL ASTERAS PARADISE. Fine hotel (a little bit far from the port but it's worth it),quiet . The personal were very friendly. Our room had a view at the pool (fantastic ) and was very clean.Enough breakfast (even for me) .The hotel has a lot of space for kids activity. Now the most important-the prices(in crises and in the season) were normal (familiar with most hotels). I recommend it for sure if you want to spend nice vacations.

Room Tip: Rooms looking at the pool are better.

We stayed for 1 week in this hotel with my family. Lokation about 10 minutes drive from Nausa and it is ok if you have a car. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had a beaudiful view to the garden. One of the best with this hotel is its swimming pool, large and clean. There is a separate children swimming pool. The children played all day in the pool with other kids. There is a nice bar for juises and drinks during the day.The breakfast was satisfactory with all the usual things plus some home made lokal sweets which was delicious. Very helpful and kind staff ready to assist att any time. The hole atmosphere is quiet and relaxing and i would strongly recomend this hotel for family vacation. It is quiet during the night and you can realy relax and enjoy.

Our room was very clean and big enough for 3 people.
BUT... I guess that we should be very lucky about this, since they gave us rooms at the back side of the hotel and these rooms seemed really new, comparing to the rest of the hotel.
We had a long walk to the reception and breakfast which made as feel more that we have rented "rooms" than staying into a hotel.
Breakfast was really poor and very boring. We stayed 10 days and we never saw something new or something different. They had just a simple white bread, 2 jams, honey, butter and a bad quality of ham and cheese. They had a really bad and cheap quality of yoghurt (... and we are in Greece, the country of youghurt!), some eggs fried at least 3 hours before and a bad quality of mini pies with cheese. Some days we found water-melon and figs. The problem was mostly that they never refill the buffet and if it was 10:20 (just 10 min. before closing) and you were asking for bread, they refill with 2-3 pieces only.
My kids could eat nothing for breakfast (I forgot to mention the freaking cerals-flakes and the fresh milk) so we had to buy reall corn flakes and milk from the super market and we carry every morning with us... One day my kids asked for milk with cocoa and they charged for that 2.80 euros (they have milk into breakfast so that means that they charged 2,80 for a teaspoon of cocoa powder!!!)
Hotel is in the middle of nowhere and you will need a car. It is also 10-15 min. drive from Naoussa. The road outside is very noisy, espesially if you get a room at the front part of the hotel.
The staff is OK and they are polite.
We were there 2 to 11 August (that means high season) and one night we decided to stay into hotel and have a drink at the bar by the pool. Guess what!!! The bar at 9 at night was closed. The hotel stuff was there, sitting on a separate table and they just told us..... "if you want something from the bar just tell me to brink it to you"... No music ofcourse and the best part was that around 10.30 they turn off the lights!!!!
The swimming - pool is not welcoming at all. During my stay there I never saw someone to swim there! The reason is that they have a high net all around pool - maybe for security reasons... but I have been to another hotels and never seen that in my life. Swimming is also forbidden from 2 to 5 noon... so.... all above make your holidays very miserable.
The giant chest, the mini golf and the tennis court are really old.

Room Tip: only the 5 rooms at the back yeard of the hotel. We some some rooms (from open doors) at the front and were really old

We stayed in this hotel with our kids for 10 days.

First of all the location: the hotel is really in the middle of nowhere. There is no way you can move around the island unless you have a car. It is a good 10 minute drive from Naousa and from the beach so having a car is a must.

The rooms, if you are lucky to get a new one are ok. Nothing special, and very simple, but clean.

The fridge in the room is extremely noisy. The free wifi Internet connection never worked in the room. Also the television in the room did not function.
There is a play area at the back of the hotel where the kids can play chess and mini golf but it all looks old and could be maintained more and better. The swimming pool is not allowed to be used between 14:00 -17:00 hrs.

As for the breakfast, it is just not good enough. The buffet did not even have the basics and the quality was very bad. There was also no variety: every day the breakfast was exactly the same. There was only coffee, juice and milk and if you want to order cold or hot chocolate milk for the kids, they charge you 2.80€ per beverage not what you expect for 160 euros per night.

We did not feel this hotel is good value for money. On the contrary, it is rather expensive for what it has to offer.

Positive element was that the staff is friendly and helpful.

Overall we have the impression that the owners are running a business solely for the business meaning they do not show any excitement or commitment while running the hotel. With more effort and engagement, and at the same time focusing on the items mentioned above, this could be a good hotel. Now we feel that they run the hotel because they have to, not because they believe in it.

Stayed there for a week with my family. The hotel is located about 5 km from Naousa which is not a real problem if you have a car as it is only a 5 minutes drive from the beautiful town of Naousa. Our room was very well kept, clean and had all the necessary amenities and facilities for a holiday resort. The real downside of the stay is the breakfast. Surely we did not expect the variety of a 5 stars hotel breakfast buffet, but we surely expected a much better quality. This was a general consensus from other guests in the hotel as well. When you pay 160 euros per night the least that you would expect is a good quality breakfast for a great start of the day. I am sure that the owners who run this family run hotel will take this seriously in consideration and will make the necessary changes, so that their future guests will have a great start of their day and that they will not seek to find another restaurant or a traditional bakery to have a decent breakfast.
