This was our third visit to the hotel - which should say it all. The rooms are clean and have all that is required for your stay, unless you want to spend all your time in your room hooked up to your lap top or watching T.V. - then this is definately not the place for you! The hotel is a family run business, they are there to help you, should you so desire, they are not intrusive but friendly and helpful. The hotel is well placed for Naoussa, and all the town has to offer. Breakfast is adequate offering cereal, yogurt and bacon, eggs, coffee, juice etc - fresh fruit would be a good addition....but you can't have everything - there is a fruit compote (from a tin). We find this hotel a lovely relaxing place, quiet during the day, with always a free sunbed around the pool, whatever time you decide to go there. The rooms are clean and spacious, the family are welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing, stress free holiday.

Our stay at Kosmitis Hotel was ok, unfortunately something as simple as an acceptable bed could have made this hotel a lot better. The room was spacious and clean, however, the "double" bed was actually two twin beds pushed together, leaving a 3 inch gap between the mattresses due to the bed frame. This was not very romantic. Additionally, the mattresses were very uncomfortable.

Pros: Family run hotel with a friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast (though fresh fruit would have been nice), good location (Naossa in our opinion is the best city to stay in on Paros), spacious and clean rooms, tasty and reasonably priced poolside snack bar.

Cons: bed/sleeping situation (see above), broken armoir doors, wi-fi was only available in the main lobby and it was slow and spotty, saltwater pool (in my opinion this is a con). The beach in front of the hotel was not impressive. Shampoo only was offered in the room (no lotion, shower caps, etc.).

Kosmitis hotel was the 3rd leg in a 4 leg honeymoon trip around Greece. Having just come from a 5 star hotel, the Saint John in Mykonos, coming to the Kosmitis was definite let down. The staff is lovely and accomodating, and the facilities very clean, however the hotel is in serious need of timely renovation, landscaping, and an just an overall facelift. In short, we felt as though we were staying in a glorified motel.

Our room was clean, bright hospital white, with no decor whatsoever. We were travelling on our honeymoon yet were given two twin beds pushed together to function as a queen! The furniture was in good working condition but was old and wooden. One of our bedside tables had a built in radio with a knob to switch to the 3 channels of music. It did not work, but again, what time was this from?

The bathroom featured a tub so narrow that you needed to turn sideways to stand flat. The shower curtain just grazed the edge of the tub, so you had to be very careful not to move too much or water would spill over the entire floor.

The lobby looked like your grandmother's living room, uncomfortable plaid couches, plastic flowers, trinkets and knick knacks, etc... There was free wi-fi here, however, so that was good thing.

Not advertised on the website, and I suppose for good reason, is the hotels tennis court. It is smaller than regulation size, and as sun was blaring, could not play for long. However the hotel had no adequate rackets. The rackets they had were wooden childrens' rackets from 26 years ago! I think this is truly representative of where this hotel sits, somewhere back in 1983.

If there are any real plusses about this hotel, it was location. Located only a 10 minute walk from the ever charming Naoussa, we always felt we could get easily escape. We also rented an atv, and traveled the island, went to the better beaches,etc...so we were never in the room long enough to get too discouraged.

Unless you are really on a tight budget, or are just looking for a clean room, no frills, I would not recommend this hotel at all.

We have just returned from a ten day stay at the Kosmitis Hotel in Paros and would like to say how much we enjoyed ourselves. Location is the main reason we booked Kosmitis as is only a ten minute walk into the small fishing port of Naoussa which we really loved, here you have such a great choice of restaurants and we especially enjoyed eating around the harbour area it is so picturesque and food is very good especially if you like fish. The rooms in the hotel ( feels more like an appartment block) are very spacious, we had a great sea view and a very large balcony, the air conditioning was great, beds very comfortable and we had a large full bathroom, decor is slighly old fashioned in the rooms however the fact that they are so spacious and well equipped makes this a really minor issue. There is a great pool area where breakfast is served from 8-10 every morning, we found breakfast to be more than adequate and apart from no fresh fruit there was a great choice of cereals, fried/boiled eggs. bacon, juices, toasts, breads, cucumber, tomotoes, sweet cake, yogurt etc. Just a few steps from the pool is a small beach, really loved it here, beds and umbrellas are free for hotel guests, water was clean and lovely to swim in and the beach was never crowded. We had our lunch if we were on the beach at the pool area of Kosmitis where they have a great snack bar. We found the staff to be very friendly, this is a family run property and Rania and her brother were more then helpful if we had any queries. We rented a car for 3 days and also went to Mykonos whilst we stayed here, there is plenty to do on Poros and we also enjoyed visiting the main port town of Parikia plus we spent a day on Anti-Paros which was very enjoyable. We loved our stay and I would be very happy to recommend this hotel to family and friends

OK hotel, but not a 4-star. TVs in the rooms are from the 90's. The rest of the room is nice. Not very suitable for young children.
Breakfast is unacceptable if you stay there longer than 3 days.
They offer the ecact same things every single day. Not even the slightest change. You get sick of it in the end.
The juices are not fresh and some of the foods they offer at the pool cafe are from a can.
Owner's are not very friendly.

We stayed three nights at the Hotel Kosmitis in early September 2008. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk away from the town activity of Naoussa. The rooms are very clean and are large in size. We heard the ocean from our room when we left the door open to the deck, it was so relaxing. You may want to check elsewhere in Paros for better beaches, but there is one as part of the hotel property. That's what makes this location great, it is near the town and has its own beach. The owners were very hospitable. The value of this room was also quite reasonable. I would definitely recommend this hotel if friends of mine were headed to Paros!

My wife and I only stayed 3 days at Kosmitis hotel before heading back to Athens. What a shame we couldn't spend 1 or 2 more days relaxing by the pool or beach.
Located right on a small, picturesque beach and 10 minutes walk into the beautiful town centre, this hotel really was a hidden gem. The website doesn't lie, it's that good.
Our room was very spacious and clean inside ( and the bathroom complete with great power shower.
The family who run the hotel were very helpful and catered to all our needs.
The pool bar served good food all day and finally we found a breakfast room complete with a TOASTER!! This made a huge difference after having bread with jam for 2 weeks.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, it's ideal for young couples and families. And Naoussa is in my opinion the nicest part of Paros to stay.
