“Nice, friendly, quiet hotel with walking distance to Parikia”
Reviewed 26 July 2010

Probably our favorite hotel after two summers of travelling between the islands in the Cyclades. Good location, quiet but only 10-15 min walking to Parikia. Bus every hour. Two beaches close to the hotel, both with two restaurants with good good and friendly service. A hotel with high standard, friendly service, spa and a nice pool.

We got a room with sea view for 2 persons at 65euros/night at the beginning of July.

The room is nice, right size, good furniture, hair dryer, air-condition, fridge, flat screen TV with international channels. Nothing missing! The only remark I have to make is that you have to pay 1,5euro to use the safe box – this you find it out when you call the reception and ask them how to use it.

Our room was on the ground floor with a view on the swimming pool and the sea. If I were to go back to the hotel I would ask for a room in the house number 4 but on the upper floor. These rooms have a balcony and a sea/swimming pool view. Don’t hesitate to ask at the reception.

The breakfast is OK and is included in the price – of course not the best buffet ever but still a good one taking into account the room’s rate.

The location of the hotel is a short car ride outside Paroikia. If you rent a car (btw, price for small cars is 25-30 /day) then you can easily move around, if not you will probably have to get taxi - not cheap – or use the bus.

Bottom line is go for it but make sure you arrange for transportation.

Stayed for one night while waiting for a ferry back to the mainland and wished that we had the opportunity to stay. The hotel itself is a short cab ride from the town, away from the noise and bustle but easy to get back into town. We had half board. Dinner was a buffet of simple but fresh and tasty dishes with wine and water, breakfast was similar. The restaurant was nice and buzzy with a good atmosphere.

Staff were extremely helpful and assisted us greatly following the cancellation of our ferry due to a strike.

The rooms were spotlessy clean and well furnished with an extremely comfortable bed and terrific views over the bay. The grounds were equally attractive, beautifully kept with a really lovely pool.

Definitely a good place to stay, for a little longer next time.

This hotel was totally refurbished in 2008 and still looks brand new. The styling is elegant and modern, with marble pathways and stylish furniture dotted around the grounds. The manager and his staff are friendly and professional - even the chambermaids were accommodating and made special arrangements on request. Our room had sweeping views over the pool and bay area. You are 2 minutes from Delfini beach which has 2 superb restaurants including the wonderful & ecclectic Magaya's (best seafood on the island). You need transport to stay at the hotel, as town & shops are a long walk away. We arranged a special deal for our rooms at reception. So it is worth popping in just to see if you can get special deal on a stunning room.

Really great stay. The owner is great and takes time to chat to guests, brings you drinks by the poo etc. Rooms are recently renovated and stylish. Breakfast area shabby chic and trendy. Small beach 1 minute away, with a great restaurant. Only downside is that it is a taxi ride away from the town, bit of a pain and added expense. Oh and the shower leaks all over the floor.
