Had a wonderfull experience at Aeoli tonight. Was introduced to the restaurant by the maitre de as I was walking past. He briefly described some of the menu, was very charming and food sounded great so it didn't take much convincing. Waitstaff were all very attentive and helpful, and the time was taken to explain some of the local cuisine. Drink and entree were both brought out quite quickly. Had the giant beans to start. The portion size was definitely giant, tried not to eat it all to save room for mains but they were too tasty. Had a traditional baked lamb and cheese dish for main. Lamb was super tender and whole dish was very tasty.
I happened to be in a bit of a rush so I was bought the bill promptly upon request. And even offered some watermelon on the house to finish of the meal.
Great experience all in all.
