“Good views but the worst hospitality.”
Reviewed 15 October 2013

This has been the worst experience in over 6 weeks of travel. To start owner failed to pick me up for a paid transfer from ferry. A friendly local called him for me and when he finally arrived no welcome, good morning, or apology ... Just a grunt. Very disappointing. Extremely rude, unhappy man who is not a traditional Greek. Rooms are very basic. Owner has no passion for this beautiful island. Would not stay here again

Stayed 2 nights.Ask for room overlooking Parikia, great view. But the rest ... Pool, pool area, breakfeast quality, general maintenance, room, room furniture, everything should be reviewed by management.By all means, not an outstanding value in Parikia. We plan to go again in the Cyclades next may, including Naxos-Paros-Syros (Ermoupolis), but we would'nt stay again in the same hotel in Parikia.

This hotel is at a great location with fantastic views. It is a short walk into the main town, but that's where it ends. The rooms are very dated. We booked for a room with a double or king sized bed & we got two single beds. The bar fridge was very noisy & kept us up most of the night & it wasn't keeping anything cold. The bathroom was tiny & the shower doors would not close properly, if you where a larger person you would struggle to get into it. The breakfast was average. The staff appeared to be friendly, but we're not very accommodating , there was always a reason as to why they couldn't do something for you. Would not stay there again

This hotel is all about view which is among the best in town. They have a large outdoor section with very comfy seats and ample space for all. A windmill in front houses a bar where you can sit and relax too. The hotel lobby looks promising, as does the inside breakfast area. Not to say that you have to have breakfast inside; you can also just sit outside too.
Manager is quite nice and takes his time for you.
Your room: well, that is the downside. By the promising looks you'd expect the same standard. However , I wont't complain about it, as it is like all the Greek hotelrooms. Yes, it has flaws, but all the rooms do. The showerdoors nearly fall out of it's hinges and it takes forever to get really warm water. But if you want perfection, either stay home or pay top dollar. Airco works like a charm, beds are not as hard as expected, balcony large enough. Just a fair room and clean too and even a small regridgerator.
Breakfast is a real downer. Nothong much exept some bread, cookies, a bit of yoghurt and coffee/tea. But, like I said, you get to eat outside, overloooking the bay and ferryboats, so you'll still love it!
Wifi all around the premises, but, ofcourse, depending on your position.
The pool is nice and not too cold. Plenty of sunbeds, although several were broken.
All in all we enjoyed our stay and the few minor flaws did not disappoint us.
Stay here if you don't mind a bit longer walk to town (like 5 to 10 mins in total) and if you can appreciate a fantastic view.

Room Tip: Ask seafront view or bay area view. So lovely!

One of our worst experience in an otherwise wonderful 2-week trip in the Cyclades. Let's start with the positive: most rooms have an outstanding view, which you can enjoy from your private little balcony. The pool is quite nice. Rooms are decent, barely. That's about it. And that may be enough.
The place is (unexpectedly, as it lays at the edge of town) crazy noisy. We're sound sleepers, yet spent most of our night half-awake, thanks to the winds bringing loud noises of cheap 80s music from the club down the street, scooters and passers-by.
And avoid the restaurant. The food is astonishingly bad.
To cap it off, while we had the nicest welcome before we actually booked there, when we left, the receptionist was grouchy and obnoxious. They also refused to take us to the port (they had picked us up there on our way in), without forewarning.

The Pandrossos Hotel on first impression looks great in terms of location, however it is in a poor state in terms of its decore and general facilities providing little comfort and cleanliness for its patrons (foyer and rooms). The matresses and pillows were most uncomfortable and the sheets were really worn. The lift was really small and ancient and could barely fit us and our luggage. Apparently, it had a 4 star rating in the local guide! The rooms are in need of refurbishment and the reception staff would benefit from actually taking an interest in the people that come to stay. A simple 'hello' or 'Is there anything I can help you with?' would have been nice. The breakfast provided was minimal, however the actual breakfast/restaurant area was bright and airy with scenic views. The only waiter in this area was professional and friendly. We did eat at the hotel once but they used seafood extender in their pasta instead of fresh octopus and calamari as indicated on their menu. High prices for take away food standard of meals! We were actually the only people in the hotel restaurant that night. Obviously not popular with the locals! The hotel did have a pool which would benefit from regular maintenance (cleanliness). Paros is a beautiful island and we would visit the location again but definitely not this hotel!

Room Tip: Search for a better hotel.

We recently stayed at the Pandrossos Hotel on a tour of the Greek Islands and found the location of this hotel to be excellent. It overlooked the Aegean Sea and the city of Parikia. The hotel had a great patio deck outside to sit and have breakfast in the morning or just to sit and enjoy a drink in the evening and take in the view. Our room faced the sea and was quite comfortable. The air conditioning worked great as it was hot and we had a nice deck that looked out over the water. We would sit out there at night and have a glass of wine after touring the Island. Our bathroom was not great as the shower was very small and if you dropped the soap and tried to bend down to pick it up it was a challenge. Also no space to put any toiletries in the bathroom. We used the plastic stool for our things. But the room was clean and had a fridge which worked great to keep the wine cold. It was a bit noisy but we had the air conditioning on at night and it drowned out the noise of the fridge. Breakfast was included in the European plan and it was a nice buffet. The coffee was awful though. We thought Greek coffee would be strong but it was like dishwater. We had to go down to one of the little restaurants on the main road to get good coffee. On our second night there our group was welcomed with a cocktail hour with free drinks and appy's and it was very nicely done. We sat our on the large patio and enjoyed the view. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a great location and view but don't expect a 5 star. I would stay here if I returned to Paros.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the sea, not the town as the rooms facing the sea are quieter.
