My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved this Pension. The location is off the main street and quiet, yet perfectly situated for a short walk to great restaurants and beaches. Our room was cool, clean and comfortable with a large terrace looking to the nearby harbor. Sofia and her husband, Emmanouel, were wonderful! We were met at the port with a complimentary transfer, helping with our luggage, offering suggestions for what to see on Paros, and ALWAYS friendly and smiling. Truly two of the happiest and kindest people I have ever encountered in my travels. Breakfast was delicious and served in the amazing yard that accompanies the Pension. Definitely recommend this property when staying on Paros.

We had the pleasure of staying in this Pension while in Paros. We were picked up and dropped at the port by the owner, Manoli, for free. Extremely clean and very friendly. The advice for scooter rentals, places to see and restaurants were on the mark and one never felt that they were trying to influence you. Value for money! Within 100m from beach and 4 min walk to old town. Will definitely return!!

We were met at the port and provided with helpful advice. Transport back to the port was also available- it is walking distance but its nice not to have to carry your stuff. Everyone there was great and the room was cute and tidy. Would stay again in a heartbeat

What a great way to start a holiday in a different country. We were met at the airport, given an orientation to the town on our way to the hotel. We were able to book in even at 10.00 in the morning. Nice sized room and bathroom with a balcony over looking an oasis type garden. Oasis as the owners obviously enjoy their gardening and spend many hours in it. The photos seen in other reviews are true- the deck chairs, tables, benches and day beds, and water features are scattered throughout a green garden. The shutters in the room allow for privacy and ventilation and a good nights sleep- it's very quiet but only 1 block back from the main street- so a 1 minute walk. We hired buggies to drive around the island (64km) and the people just directly down the street on the water front gave us a great deal. After a hot day out sight seeing it was good to go back to a tranquil setting. We didn't eat breakfast but it certainly looked good. The room contains a bar fridge and hanging space. Really good wifi,. The owners were more than happy to go to the Oort to pick up our friends who had been delayed with luggage issues, and then go back and pick up there luggage from the airport a day later- nothing is a bother. Plenty of good restaurants within 2-5 minutes and a good beach 2 minutes to the right of the hotel. Thank you for a great stay.

The only negative point was the bed which I found a little firm- but after what I have just slept on in Santorini I would gladly have it back. I have to say that I like a soft topped mattress so this is more my problem than the hotels but worth a mention.

I highly recommend the hotel.

We would definitely return to Pension Sofia if we were on a budget again in Paros, for 35 euro a night we thought the room was a great deal. Well decorated, very homely and lovely private balcony area.

The people who run the hostel are so lovely, we couldn't have asked for better hosts.

The garden area is immaculate, we only stayed two nights and didn't get to actually sit in them because we were on the go. They had two bunnies, two cats and three kittens I absolutely loved playing with.

It is a 1 minute walk to the seaside with loads of restaurants, and 5 minute walk to port.

The only downsides were that we could only sometimes get slow wifi in one part of our room, and the bed/pillows were really hard and bed squeaked every time we moved.

Other than that, would have been five star!

We stay in this lovely little hotel for 3 days the other week. Unfortunately we weren't greeted at the port as previously arranged the day before so had to find our own way. It really isn't far from the port but if you are able to make use of the free pick up I would recommend you do so. Once we arrived no one was around and we had to wait for the lady over the road to find the owner. It became clear they had forgotten we were due to arrive that day... This didn't ruin it for us, if anything it just exemplifies the islands laid back approach which is a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of some of the other islands.

Aside this little mishap the hotel itself is really beautiful, the gardens well kept and there are some lovely views from the sea facing rooms.

The rooms were lovely, bright and clean. The beds were a little hard but we managed a good nights sleep. We didn't have the breakfast or any drinks from the hotel, it wasn't made that clear how we could get these. The prices seemed reasonable though.

Location wise it's a 2 minute walk to the front and around 10-15 minutes walk to the old town.

We loved Paros; the people, the tavernas and the price. Things are certainly a little cheaper compared to those paid on Mykonos/Santorini.

Room Tip: Visit Opa's taverna, 2 minutes away on the harbour front!

Great little get away! Husband and wife duo, so sweet. Even picked us up from Port for free! Beautiful garden!  Only 5-7 mins away from port, a block up from the ocean (I love being a bit away from the main street). Very quaint, you can kinda hear the people in the next room but it didn't bother us. Hair dryer, mini fridge and warm atmosphere. Great great amazing price! Paros was our favorite island, would love to go back.
