Me and my boyfriend went in masseria salinola to stay only one night.
The first impression we had once arrived was " ahh home"
Nice smell of healthy and high quality of food and warm welcome from the owner.
Really peaceful and cozy place.
I would suggest it for sure!

Located in a beautiful and centrally located area in Puglia, this family owned and operated agritourismo was charming beyond belief. Danielle was attentive to our every need and created a most welcoming environment during our 5 night stay. Each morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast before we set out on a day of touring the unique towns and villages of Puglia. Upon return to the masseria we took a dip in the pool. After a bit of relaxing and enjoying the masseria's environs, we sat down to an incredible meal prepared by Danielle's mother which completed each perfect day. If you are planning a trip to Puglia, don't miss this gem.

Autenticità pugliese in un ambiente assolutamente raffinato!!
The real Puglia in the most refined place!!

I could write this review in Italian, but having noticed that most of the clients in this Masseria were from other countries, I have preferred to write it in English.
It is not the first time that I have been on holiday in Puglia and, being Italian, but a native Australian, with the luck of being able to travel the world, I can definitely suggest this place to all of you!! As soon as you arrive, you breathe the typical atmosphere of the place submerged in absolute silence. The owner, Daniele, was waiting for us and he showed us the structure and the rooms which were very original, being in the old building that used to be the place where the farmers used to live and store all the tools and the harvest. Nice location, not far from Ostuni, beautiful pool and, very important, very good breakfast in the morning with lots of things ( jam,
marmalade, cakes, biscuits ) handmade from the kitchen, as well as dinner very nice and genuine. We ate there a few times while the other nights we went out just for a change.
Moreover, they produce a lot of things like olives, jam, marmalade that are possible to buy.
I bought some of them and I can confirm that they are very nice.

If you want to spend some time in Puglia, seriously think about this place!

Stayed one night in the fireplace room on June 10.
Every aspect of our short stay was exemplary from the warm welcome from Danielle, the excellent dinner served by a very personable waiter, the comfortable room and the beautifully presented breakfast.
Staying here is like staying in a familiar family home in the country - you feel at home immediately. There is great attention to detail and there is an obvious commitment to providing guests with a great experience. The atmosphere is immediately relaxed and inviting. One of the best places we have stayed in - would happily return for a longer stay.

My husband and I just celebrated our 25th anniversary with a 2 week trip to Puglia with a stop in Matera, Basilicata.
We spent two amazing days and nights at Masseria Salinola. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The place was beyond beautiful. Old farmhouses converted to guest suites, terraces to relax on, an amazing pool...all on the grounds. Daniele, the owner, could not have been nicer or more welcoming. He told us a bit of the history of his grandparents having started the farm and now he runs this beautiful agriturismo. It was beautiful and relaxing. Just what we needed after a serious amount of sight seeing. They prepare a meal where everything served is from the grounds. It was one of the most amazing meals I have ever experienced. Being an enthusiastic home cook passionate about Italian regional cooking, I had lots of questions on ingredients, preparation techniques etc and he was sooo kind in answering every question I had. If he didn't know he went to ask the chef in the kitchen. Sooo sweet of him to be so generous with this info. The breakfast spread they put out each morning was amazing....all from what was grown or raised on the farm, with plenty of amazing baked goods as well. I can't thank him and his family enough for such a beautiful visit in such an amazing part of Puglia. The people of Puglia are some of the friendliest we have encountered in all of our trips to Italy. When we said goodbye he was kind enough to suggest I send pics of my food once I got home. And he also told me to write him with any cooking questions and he would ask his momma for me. How sweet is that??? I can't recommend this place enough. You will feel like you landed in paradise. Paradise with excellent food.
Thank you Daniele and famiglia. I hope to be back someday.

Room Tip: Ask for the old farmhouse. The largest suite. Behind spectacular.

Part of the agriturismo label, this masseria "farm in italian", is an absolute jewel. Family owned and run by local pugliesi, the owners managed to keep a 40 years tradition of hospitality. The converted farm kept his unique architecture, creating a beautiful rooms and suits in middle of olive trees.

The location and scenery are incredibly astonishing however what made our stay so special was the warm welcome and genuine service with a smile we received. For the foodies, i would strongly recommend to book a table and try the Local diner menu. Menu offers a wider variety of primi and secondi piatti (updated daily by local chef) and an excellent selection of local wines.

Personal was always helpful in providing tips, indications regarding places to visit around.
Masseria is ideal for those travelling and looking for a place to relax. I would definitely return at some point to renew the experience.

Room Tip: For those travelling in couple, i would aim at the matrimonial rooms. Very comfy and romantic.

Everything about Masseria Salinola is perfect. Right from the moment we arrived we felt welcome and instantly relaxed. The Masseria is very well maintained and beautifully decorated. The back terrace over looking the pool is a beautiful place to unwind and relax with a book or enjoy a pre dinner glass of local wine! Our Suite #7 was very clean and comfortable and the furniture and decor was simply stunning. A highlight of our stay was the evening meal, a delicious menu of home cooked food using fresh produce from the garden. The soft music, flowers and candles set the mood for a very enjoyable evening. Daniele and his family are wonderful hosts and take pride in their attention to the smallest detail of their Masseria. We also did the bike riding tour that Daniele recommended and it was fantastic, don't miss it! We were very sad to leave after 4 nights and would rate our stay at Salinola with our best travel experiences. Thank you Daniele, everything was perfect.
