Overall the hotel is quite good.
The room could be a little cleaner but the staff are helpful.

The best thing about the hotel is the food. I ate there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food are amazing.

There are 2 big downside for this hotel.
1. It is very far from Padre Pio Sanctuary.
2. The room is not very luxurious to claim a 4 star hotel.

I booked Mum and a friend in for 5 days early in August. These are her comments on her return. The Hotel was a little way out of town (approx 5 mins in a taxi and expensive at 8 euros one way) and the only bar/ restaurant was in the hotel, nothing else in the vacinity. As there was no entertainment in the hotel in the evening there wasn't much to do. The room we had was nicely decorated, very clean and the bed comfortable. The distance to Padre Pio was a little to far to walk in the heat, maybe younger people would have made it in 15 mins, but for me and my friend who are fitish 80 year olds, it was just a little too far to walk. The staff left a little to be disired, as generaly they were not very welcoming and not forthcomming with information. On our first morning at breakfast we shown to a table asked if we want drinks and that was that. We never found the area where the buffet breakfast was searved and thought that the bread rolls on the table was all that was available. It was only on the second morning when we went to investigate, that we found there was a good choice of fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt etc available. We had an evening meal in the hotel only once during our stay and that was one time too many, All we had was a simple pasta dish and a carafe of wine (approx 40 euros the lot). The pasta was served undercooked and stuck together. I am Italian so understand the concept of 'Al Dente' but the pasta should not have been served to paying guests. To sum up the hotel was very nice, but the staff could have broken a smile every now and again and been more informative The food needs to improve dramatically to attract more guests to stay and eat. Better food can be obtained near Padre Pio and San Pietro Hotel at the same price.

Stayed for one night. We (my parents and I) had a triple room, which was large enough and quite well-appointed. The beds were comfortable & everything worked. The breakfast spread could have been better (could not compare with Rome and Assisi) but it was adequate.

Stayed for two nights in this hotel whilst on a pilgrimage from South Africa.
All the basic necessities were there but it was not really up to scratch.
The property itself needed to be spruced up and more attention to details is required.
However the staff were very friendly and helpful even though they could not speak english.
Also the hotel is very convenient for pilgrima.

Stayed at this hotel for three days, it was very simple but clean, included underground parking and the staff were very helpful. We had an emergency and needed to find a dentist asap, and as we spoke no Italian the staff found us a dentist in town, explained the situation, booked us in and one of the staff came with us to the dentist to make sure we didn't get lost and even went up to explain our situation at the clinic! Only did breakfasts at the restaurant which was again basic (but good) and got good service. Rooms were nicely done.
