“Wow What an experience”

What a great find and one to remember and go back to. Our Hosts Giorgio and Paola were top notch and the surroundings and furnishing exceeded our expectations for a Agri tourism
stay. The food was authentic and were cooked with love by the hosts. The other guests were the best and had great conversations at dinner and throughout the stay. The restoration from a 1400 farmhouse into a beautiful space had to be labor of love and attention to detail.
We look forward to visiting again. Breakfasts were great and the dinners were authentic Italian and even had some of the best local chicken after asking what we liked.

Room Tip: Every room has its unique character and charm and we got a chance to see many of them.

This review is long overdue but it is still entrenched in my memory as the best stay we had during our 5 weeks in Italy. Paola and Giorgio were fantastic genuinely warm hosts and made us feel like we were staying at a close friend's house. The property itself is beautiful and would not be out of place in a Vogue Living magazine. The foods they served were also amazing (they use only the best ingredients - not to mention that Giorgio is a fantastic cook). And don't get me started on their three little dachshunds !

The only shame was that we could only stay here for two nights ! (we tried to extend but it was fully booked). Thank you so much for a wonderful experience Paola and Giorgio!

There are almost 20,000 registered agriturismi in Italy, but Casa Fabbrini has to be among the best. And it is an authentic agriturismo, offering both superb accommodation and home-grown products. The locale, the traditional beauty of the farmhouse and surrounding vineyards and olive orchards, and above all, the hospitality and cuisine of Drs. Giorgio and Paola Fabbrini--are as good as it can get. Traditional, but modern, all done in the best of taste, quality, attention to detail, and passion. We'll be back, that is a certainty.

Room Tip: All rooms are good.

We couldn't have chosen better!
The farmhouse, Casa Fabbrini is in a spectacular location and so beautiful. The bedrooms are airy, modern and very comfortable, the lounge areas, gardens and swimming pool are relaxing and lovely. We had a wonderful welcome from Paulo and Georgio, who are so warm and generous, that is how the week started and finished. We had, it seemed our own italian farmhouse for 1 week. Breakfast was such a treat, dinner was amazing, (Georgio, Paula and team are fantastic cooks). We sat at dinner with Georgio and Paula and the other guests of Casa Fabbrini and instantly made new friends, dinner was a very special occasion and something we looked forward to at the end of the day. I can only say that I'd rate Casa Fabbrini as one the the most beautiful places we have stayed and that recommendation is contributed by the wonderful people who own the farmhouse and the team who work there.
Thank you so much Georgio, Paulo for sharing your incredible home and team for making our stay a wonderful italian experience.
P.D. Hope the puppies are all doing well!
Very best wishes... Katie & Robin x

We--my husband and I and an adult daughter--visited in April and it was like being invited to spend a vacation at the lovely rural Italian estate of a near and dear relative! You drive up and Paola comes out to greet you and show you around the premises which have been totally re-designed by their architect son and then we were shown upstairs to our rooms. Everything is peaceful and calm with the windows open to the cool country air. You look out the back and see the land gently sloping down to their vineyard. You look out the front and you look out on a terraced area with flowers, lawn furniture, and saltwater pool with olive trees beyond. The downstairs area consists of an entry with a beautiful rustic bed with colorful pillows and a large living area with comfortable white sofas and books facing a beautiful fireplace plus dining areas and a TV area arranged around a central core. Beyond that is the luxurious red kitchen in which Giorgio holds forth as he cooks the evening meal. Paola is the baker and gets up early to prepare freshly baked goodies for breakfast. You come down in the mornings to a sumptuous feast--chocolate-filled croissants, apple strudel, ricotta, toast with homemade jams, eggs (if you desire), cereals, juices, coffee or tea. Then you are free to spend your day going to see nearby things that you are interested in or you can sit out on the terrace area with huge overstuffed couches and pillows overlooking the valley and the little village across the way and read if you like.

At Casa Fabbrini you are advised that dinner is served at 8:30 pm and by then you are ready to sit and do nothing! We sat at one long table and enjoyed the different people who were there each night of the 5 nights we were there. The meal was presided over by the Giorgio and Paola who really have made an art of happily serving their guests. They preside over the conversation from the head of the table and the meal usually starts with a delicious soup containing beans or lentils, then an amazing pasta dish, followed by a beef, fish, or veal dish plus polenta or potatoes, broccoli rabe or something green and usually a green salad as well. (I had to buy Giorgio's pasta cookbook when I left). All of this with lots of homemade bread plus white and red wine and still/bubbly water. Then came dessert which ranged from fresh strawberries in a wine sauce to 3 types of biscotti served with vin santo! After all that, Giorgio would offer a liqueur from his extensive stock. The last night he offered a licorice one that he had made from licorice root and it was lovely! Coffee was usually offered as well. By then it is 11 or 11:30 and all you want to do is fall in bed!!

Obviously, this was the highlight of our trip to Italy! We hadn't planned to go back to Italy as we have been several times but I would love to go back once more just to be pampered by Paola and Giorgio at Casa Fabbrini and to check out the saltwater pool when it was warmer--utter luxury!

Room Tip: Some have tubs and some have showers. All are quiet.
