Can't rave too much about the food, but there's nothing like sitting here and watching people while you enjoy a beverage and some bites of good, local food. Small place that spills out onto the sidewalk, but I found myself there numerous times during the week!

After spending a couple of hours walking around Gaucin we originally stopped off at Bodeguita Chaparro for a drink but after seeing some of the meals carried across the road to the other guests we decided to stay and have some lunch and ended up there for a few hours more.

The house wine was lovely, free olives were provided and we also lovely. We order a mixed salad, chicken pincho's, Galician style octopus and grilled prawns and with a coffed (and the bottle of wine) the bill at less than 25 euros was spot on.

The service was friendly and swift and provided necessary water for the dog!

Next time in Gaucin we will definitely stop here again.

Every time we go into Gaucin we see waiter running across the street with food to the terasse across. We also notice that the customers are locals. Cars stop to chat with people sitting down. This is the local stop. Food is simple, everything is marinated in lemon juice and has the proper level of salt. The quail is delicious, lamb chops too. Noone speak English but you point ar translated menu and enjoy the view.
