“Stunning location - a must stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

I cannot praise this hotel enough! The location is admittedly secluded, but this only adds to the charm of such a beautiful building. The rooms are clean and large, the staff are friendly, approachable and attend to every need, the mojitos are INCREDIBLE and the views are out of this world. Nestled beautifully in the mountains in Tolox, the hotel looks over the village below and the mountains that surround one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. There is such an air of serenity that comes with the hotel as well as the location, and I already want to visit again. Food is incredible to top. All in all, a fabulously relaxing and inspiring experience. Will most definitely visit again!

we found thelocation a bit spooky. might be because of the cloudy day upon our arrival, as next morning when it was sunny - was better. average breakfast, nice view, staff who knows 0 (zero) English. will never return, but might be great for extreme-peace-lovers.

Dear Bohinj

We really are away from the crouds at Costa el Sol and yet so close, only 45 min to Marbella for example, we do serve buffet breakfast everyday wich is average for hotels but allways fresh orange pressed juice, eggs on order, cheese local from tolox, season fruit like Cherries this days and many other things...
Thank you for recomending our hotel to peace lovers and off the croud

Best regards

We got married in this hotel 6 years ago and we have just returned for our anniversary. This hotel is truly magical. Since we last stayed they have installed an outside spa area with a hot tub overlooking the magnificent views. We treated ourselves to the gastronomic menu which is 6 courses all of which were divine. The staff always consists of one of the owners (of which there are 3) and the service is always warm and welcoming whilst professional. If you love the real Spain and want to experience peace and tranquillity whilst being spoilt this is your place we cannot recommend it enough and are due to go back in June.

I stayed here about ten years ago during a motorcycle rally and returned on my bike again and was so pleased that I did. This hotel has the magical effect of making you simply want to relax and absorbe the peace, stunning views, wonderful and passionate service and eagerness to please. The food is an experience in itself and the rooms comfortable and inviting. The views from the balconies are beyond compare. Where else could you swim in a pool that feels like it is on top of the world. Heaven is above...but not that far!

Room Tip: Ask for the room in the tower

We did not (yet) stay in the hotel. My brother in law and wife stayed and thoroughly enjoyed it. We drove up from Marbella on a sunny Sunday for the most delicious lunch. We took the menu de degustation and were offered 6 courses, everyone equally delicious and original. Plenty of fresh bread, olives and tapenade as well, all included in the very reasonable price of €40 pp. great service, beautiful views, very quiet surroundings. We will definitely go back there!

A warm welcome at reception after a long and winding road journey. Wonderful views across the natural park.
A little disappointed with restaurant considering other reviews but they were preparing for wedding next day
Would certainly return next time we're in the area
