We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, which is classy but not too formal. It is ideally situated ear the marina with plenty of good restaurants nearby. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the bathrooms were beautiful. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and efficient. It is not a hotel for children so the pool areas were quiet and tranquil. We will definitely be back.

Just returned from 4 nights at the Aguas de Ibiza. Very comfortable bedrooms and sunbeds by pool fantastic. Service was discreet but good. Overall pleased with the hotel. Only gripe was that the superb Scuba Bar on the roof terrace could be the jewel in the crown for the hotel. It doesnt open until 5pm and on 3 of our 4 nights there they had a private party so we could only use it from 5 until 8pm or on Saturday night not at all. It should be open all afternoon as the views are fantastic.

Perfect hotel for a chill out few days

Very cool, modern hotel. Love breakfast by the pool. The retreats at the hotel are really great and trainer, Faye is amazing. Book her morning beach circuits even if you are not staying at the hotel. Beautiful spa - possibly best on the island.

Room Tip: Ask for sea-view.

Would have loved to have given Aguas a 5 star rating when we stayed here on our wedding night last year (2011). Loved the hotel, staff etc. BUT considering the hotel knew it was our wedding night we received no special treatment which would've made our experience perfect! Nothing ridiculous but maybe a free spa treatment or bottle of champagne would've been nice. However, we loved the place so much we are staying here again next month (Sept 2012).!!.

Only had drinks here, and this is highly recommended. You don't have to be a guest here to eat in the restaurant or have a drink on the roof top terrace. The most amazing views of the marina and the town beyond and a welcome breeze on a hot and sultry evening. Expensive, twice to price for cocktails, and wine is not cheap, but well worth the cost.
Very pretentious and distinctive and relaxed. Cannot wait to come back here as a guest of the hotel.

We booked this hotel through our local travel agent. We had never been to Ibiza before so didn't really know where to stay and was told this is 1 of the islands 5 * hotels. On arrival the hotel looked quite nice. The rooms seemed ok and the facilities seemed good.
The service is bad here they leave you waiting for ages for drinks round the pool and the food comes up very slow and most of the time cold. The beds are like slabs of concrete and after having a facial in the spa I couldn't see for 2 hours after as the therapist had rubbed cream into my eyes. There is a rooftop pool area which opens after 8pm, which is completely pointless as the sun goes down around 9pm. We only ever stay in 5* hotels and this should not be categorised as a 5*.
I would advise anyone who is wanting to stay in a luxury hotel in Ibiza to avoid this hotel. There is 1 and only 1 good thing about this hotel and that is the waiter and the food in the restaurant on the roof terrace were both lovely.

Dear Mr. Lauren S

First of all I would like to offer my most humble apologies for not reaching your expectations. I want to tell you that your comments are been told to the F&B and spa departments. Please, be sure that this is not our way of operating as our service use to be very fast at the pool restaurant. Regarding the spa incident, all our therapist have beed trained by Clarins, and they know perfectly the brand facial procedures. I will investigate it but it seems to be an accident. Finally, let me tell you that all our mattresses have been bought from a high quality supplier. My apologies again for not having beds of your liking.

If you want to give us a second chance, be sure that we will do our best in order to recover your trust again. In that case I personally will manage your reservation and I would be more than happy to assist you.

Yours sincerely,

General Manager

Ok, not all hotel experiences are pleasant. Rather than take my word for the view and location, let the pictures tell the story and you can decide if the hotel is worth the price. We checked in for a 3 night stay in a Jr suite at 430E per night. Not cheap.

The pictures were taked from the room and the balcony. The beautiful ocean view their brochures and website represent are not factual. If you stay in the right side of the buildidng you have a great "peak a boo" ocean view with a big hotel eclipsing your view. If the issue were just the view we wouldnt have asked to change to another room. the right side of the building fronts a workring ship yard. We really wanted to nap after a long travel day but were treated to a buzz saw and hamer working away repairing boats.

When we aksed to be moved the fun began. The front desk called back after 15 minutes to advise that we could move at a 50E or 150E per night up charge. I think the 1st time a hotel insisted I pay more for an acceptable room.
The next day when we went to check the manager was appologetic that the day before his staff had not explained they did not have another room in our catagory available and offered to change at a higher price. They would now move us.

We advised had already made arrangements and we committed to another hotel. The manager advised they would charge us for the unused nights anyway. The conversation that followed wasnt pretty..

If you do decide to stay at the property the pool area is nice. The hotel is not in a nice beach front area, surrounded by dirt parking lots, boatyard.

Pictures attached.

Room Tip: if you do stay at the hotel ask for a room on the left side of the building. That is left side of...

Dear Mr. Oliversdad

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay at Aguas de Ibiza. Nevertheless, we don't agree your coments. As the front office staff told you your room category and the upper one where fully booked and the change wasn't possible the first night. The second night the room change was possible. Nevertheless, you decided to leave the hotel and we didn't charge the penalty fee even though you had a promotional rate with 100% cancelation policy. Our staff was always very kind and what we don't accept at all are the disrespectful manners.

Thank you very much for staying with us and once again thank you for detailing your experience.

Yours sincerely,

General Manager
