I will try to keep it simple but here goes. 28 of us In Family arrived. 2 week stay. Very clean. Hotel staff brilliant including the cleaners and all restaurant and snack bar staff. Animation team also friendly. Loads of drinks choice and loads of food choice. Always fresh and varied. Don't just stick to chips and moan on here there's not enough choice :). Seriously though, belting hotel. You meet lots of people because of its size and it makes for a better stay around the pool and at night if you stay in. Night entertainment is different every night and usually includes 30 mins of bingo before that to get started. Mini disco for kids at 8.30pm but only good for little ones. Bingo about 9pm then main stuff at around 9.30pm. Toddlers all play together day and night in safe environment. Pool attendant Joshua is very keen and friendly. Pepe on front desk helps with anything and is great with anybody. Lubo, aziz and all the bar staff were great with us and the kids. Infact, all the staff were. Honestly. You will see for yourself. We have stayed in 4 and 5 star before and despite Egypt and Mexico both being 5 star and bigger pools, this place is clean, better run, more friendly and the food was better. People have said this place is tired and not 4 star (only a few) but if you like a moan you have to put that. Ignore any bad post. We would never go back to any hotel but with this one we will for sure. Great location (quiet) if up a 10 minute little hill but don't let that put you off. You appear at beginning of beach and can walk the entire seafront upto town and marina. Things to mention. Titanic bar is a great little Spanish run place with Spanish regulars. All friendly. Also turn left and walk for 5 minutes and on the right is a restaurant called 'seventeen'. We all went and it's simply gorgeous. Great atmosphere, great food. Lastly, turn up to this hotel and unwind, smile and get involved and enjoy. You can do a lot worse.

Arrived as a couple on 4 June 2014. I am disable and requested an adapted room prior to traveling. When we arrived we where met by the lovely and very helpful Pepe. He told us to go and have some lunch before the dining room closed. When we go into our room which was 022 I was very disappointed the room was not big enough for me to get my wheelchair around the bed. It was a good job I can walk a little. The shower was a laugh. It was a metal seat which came down from the wall but the shower head was too low and could not be hired. My husband had to bend down to have a shower and the water always went out into the hallway outside the bathroom. The food was not very good and was only ever warm. The entertainment was non existent even though Shaka did try his best. All of the staff where very helpful and really pleasant. It was a 10 minute walk into the town but was down hill going and obviously uphill coming back which was not very nice for my husband. I ended up renting a mobility scooter which cost me a lot. I only selected this hotel because I had heard a lot of people saying that the Serenis hotels where fantastic. I would not say this hotel was a 4 star and not suitable for disabled people. I will not be returning to this hotel or to any other Serenis hotel.

Dear guest,

Thanks for choosing the Sirenis Hotel Club Siesta to spend the holiday with your partner and for taking the time to share your point of view with the travel community.

We are very sorry to read you barely enjoyed the structure of our specially adapted rooms. The shower has been designed to allow our guest to entry without steps.

It enlivens me to read your good comments about our staff as they put a lot of effort to provide the best holiday experience, but regret not having been able to meet your expectations in terms of dining.

Our kitchen staff must verify and record the temperature of the dishes served at the buffet; these measures comply with the regulations. Just in case you don’t find the temperature to your taste, a microwave is available in the dining area and the chef at the show cooking will always be pleased to assist, should you prefer the meat or fish piece hotter.

The entertainment programme includes 7 different activities during the day, the mini disc and an international night show 4 days per week. During the remaining nights our entertainment team is in charge of the animation.

I really hope we are going to be able to restore your confidence into our brand in your next stay if you give us the opportunity.

Best regards,

As an early summer break we decided to have a week in an all inclusive hotel and this one popped up in the Thomson search. The review of the hotel and resort were fairly understated but importantly the Tripadvisor reviews were positive. I've never been a fan of all inclusive having only tried it once about 15 years ago so I wasn't expecting much from the Sirenis.

On arrival we weren't even certain we were at the hotel, it's tucked away in a nondescript residential area away from the beach and resort. Once inside we were met with a clean well laid out reception and extremely friendly staff (all staff we encountered at the hotel were excellent). We got to our room 2nd floor overlooking the pool and sea to be pleasantly surprised by the spacious size of it, it was also spotlessly clean and remained so throughout the week. One issue with the room was the poor quality aircon, it does little more than blow the air around and did not cool the room, something other guests were mentioning. Whether the aircon temperature is regulated and cooled down in the hotter July/August weather remains to be seen.

The food throughout the week also pleasantly surprised me. It was what you would expect from a hotel of this type in the Mediterranean, but was quite varied relying on quality rather than quantity and the hot food was always piping hot. Many of the dishes served at lunchtime (when we only ate salads, cold meats, bread etc) were what you would expect to have in the evening and vice versa which was quite random and often frustrating, curry at lunch was not as appealing as it would have been at night for example. As compensation for this anomaly there was always a chef cooking fresh fish and meat to order.

The hotel pool is fairly small but with mainly adults staying that week there were never more than about 6 people in it just having a swim, would imagine it would been far too small once the families with kids arrive. The pool was also very clean and the water a lovely warm temperature.

The resort is a five minute walk which is downhill on the way there and obviously uphill on the way back. It is not too difficult a walk even for people with minor mobility problems. The resort itself with its beautiful beaches and marina are a hidden gem. Once again the reviews we read were understated as it was significantly better than we could have imagined. It is a very cosmopolitan area with proper shops and restaurants, not tat shops and fast food chains. We went there every night for a walk and a drink or two as we didn't want to be stuck in the hotel with the all inclusive bar as we would have missed out.

It would be easy to have given this holiday 5 out of 5 but there are a few things which just take the edge off, and as per my previous reviews I try to give a balanced overview. I would recommend the hotel and resort more to couples than families but still think my kids would have enjoyed it had they come along.

Room Tip: Request high floor pool view as some of the rooms face the back of the hotel looking onto the reside...

Stayed at this hotel last week, four adults (My wife and the in-laws) and my two kids aged 2 and 7. Found the hotel to be clean and friendly, didn’t have any issues getting sun loungers around the kids pool when we needed them.
The room felt a bit cramped and was on the ground floor next to the restaurant and public toilet you could hear people in the bathrooms, however this was offset by the fact that you could spend the evening on the terrace in close proximity to the bar while the kids slept which outweighed the noise of the toilets.
The food was great and there was plenty of choice, had we gone for more than a week it may have gotten repetitive and they could have put on more choice for the kids. The Entertainment for the little ones was lacking during the day, Chakalaka tried his best keeping the adults going.
Overall we had a great time, the staff were helpful and courteous and the hotel itself is in a great location.

Just returned from a week all inclusive, 5 adults and 2 kids-5 and 3. We arrived at hotel and were greeted by a friendly reception, went straight to our room which overlooked the pool and could see the sea, a clean room, good size and nice bathroom. The pool was great, and small kids pool perfect for 3 yr old niece, life guard on duty all day every day and was on the ball! My husband used the gym daily, there were also plenty of sunbeds, although not that comfy!
Food- good selection for meat eaters, but me and my mum are vegetarians and really only lived on salad and potatoes all week. Also was badly labelled, one night had a mixed veg pie, only to find chicken in it! Plenty of veg, salad and bread which was all nice.
Entertainment- pretty poor, kids disco was dreadful not organised, and very little daytime entertainment for kids. They do have a small crazy golf which was good. Had bingo most nights, but evening entertainment was a let down.
Location was perfect, a short walk and your in the town which was really nice and the beach lovely, would definitely return.
Overall great holiday, staff cannot do enough for you, room was nice, hotel clean and tidy.

Room Tip: Overlooking pool very nice

This hotel is small , and what makes this hotel is its staff they are fantastic, as this is a small hotel you do get to know everyone, and we made alot friends during are stay.

The first roon we had was nice and big very hot, put on the air conditioning to cool it down but did nothing, it was not strong enough to blow a fly over let alone cool the room down, so in the morning went an saw pepe who came to the room said it was working, but would show us some other rooms where you did not get the sun , three rooms later we swap rooms which was smaller had a great sea view, but the air conditioning still did not blow out cold air had to sleep with the doors open, would not like to stay there in the height of the season.

Swimming pool is small and there is a small pool for children, alot of the sunbeds where broken and fixed with jubilee ties, there is a life guard on duty who was great did see him rescue a couple of children, but you can only use the pool from 10 am till 6 pm the time should be longer as people like to swim earlier and later in the day as its still very hot at 6pm.

The dining room is very nicely done with nice table cloths so you don't feel like its a canteen like some hotels I have been to, the best days to eat in there is Saturday and Sunday, the rest of the week its the same , chips with everything, on the front they would have potatoes with skins on which was always cold not cooked , if you like seafood there was plenty, did find it hard some days to find anything to eat but chips.
Did go out into the town and had a few meals out if you like Indian food go to bollywood in the harbour its fantastic.

The day and night entertainment was shocking, who wants to play bingo every night, the hotel has two bars and puts the entertainment on in the smaller one when the other one has a stage all set up. Can't fault the bar staff they are great fun .

The hotel should be used as a adult only hotel, as there is not alot to do for children a small pool , nothing for the teenagers, I would only give this hotel 3 stars, did have a great time but that was down to the people we met there.

This was our third holiday at hotel and still great.Pepe is fantastic, nothing too much trouble and so helpful.Rooms are clean and comfortable,we had a fantastic view, and not a lot of noise-stayed in 5 +star in September2013 and not up to standard of here! Yes, there were babies and children,it is a family hotel, but I don't think they were noisy(we did have a toddler ). Life guard was the best I have come across-watched the pools all the time- thanks! All the staff were friendly and helpful-pool bar, blond guy never stopped working. Food and drink well above average for a 4star hotel. Thanks for another great holiday and will be back next year!
P.s. I am usually very difficult to please!
