“Excellent stay”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

Excellent hotel in a really good location.Only a short walking distance from beach and superb promenade.Bedrooms were a lovely size and well appointed.Food was always of a good standard and the buffet was very well organised.Staff were very welcoming and extremely efficient and we would not hesitate to stay there again.Santa Eulalia is a beautiful resort and the hotel matches it perfectly!

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing onto the swimming pool

When we arrived at the hotel we were offered a choice of two rooms, one on the fourth floor and one on the second, both overlooking the pool area. We were given the keys to both and told to choose and let them know which one we wanted. We chose the second floor as it overlooked the sun terrace and had sun for most of the day.
The bed was rather hard as was the bolster pillow, although they did provide a softer bolster they did not provide a softer mattress. One main complaint was that we were apparently sharing our accommodation with a number of inch long visitors that disappeared under the bath as soon as a light went on. The hotel took immediate action and sprayed the area, unfortunately we were left to pick up dead or dying bugs for the next couple of days. Luckily they were all confined to the bathroom
Restaurant had a good choice each night. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful, particularly Paki and Antonia, who went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We liked the themed nights as it gave us a chance to try food we would not normally have. Only down side was that sometimes the food was not replenished very quickly and we had to ask if there was any more of a particular dish coming out
Every day the queue for the sunbeds started at about 08:30. Some people seemed to need to have the same sunbeds every day. One advantage of the second floor room was that we did not have to join the queue, we just dropped the towels from our balcony onto the sunbeds.
WiFi was only available in the designated room near reception, this room looked more like a chapel and everyone using it resorted to whispering
Entertainment was not on every night in the hotel but when it was the acts were quite good. We actually saw the acts in the Mirage bar before they appeared at the hotel. The atmosphere in Mirage was excellent. Plenty of little bars and restaurants in the area, Ring of Bells and The Queen Victoria were most frequented by those who wanted to watch the soaps or the football.
We did not go on any organised trips but used the local buses to travel around the island. Go to the Hippy Market in ES Canna, a must do. We also went to Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni. Take a trip on the little road train it takes you through the countryside, stopping off at a small market and a couple of nice beaches. A boat trip to Formentera is recommended and when there take the Green bus around the island

Room Tip: The rooms to the north overlooking the sun terrace get the sun most of the day, but not after 15:00...

I was disappointed with my first impression of the hotel. It's not by the sea and the room felt a bit small. It definitely grew on us during our stay. The staff are great, the food (buffet) is of a good standard, changing the theme daily - I specially liked the Sushi and mexican nights. Drinks are not overpriced. We visited family in other hotels and the prices were higher and staff less helpful. It's a great location - 5 minutes from the beach with loads of restaurants near by. The number of sunbeds around the pool in the sun is limited so you have to be there at 9.00 am on the dot to get your place! This is definitely an older adults only hotel - not many under 40's there. That said, guests and staff create a happy atmosphere that makes for a relaxed holiday. Evening entertainment not bad - particularly if you like Elvis!

Room Tip: Overlooking the pool means less road noise

This hotel is perfectly situated - just a few meters from shops and beach. There is a lovely wide promenade all along the beach area (no hills to climb - all flat) with plenty of seats. The staff in this hotel were amazing, always smiling, helpful and courteous. All areas of the hotel are spotlessly clean, bedrooms have everything you need and towels etc changed regularly. A pleasant welcome drink on arrival and bottled water in room fridge. The dinin area is well lit with serving areas for all different courses and tastes. There is always plenty to choose from. This is certainly the best hotel I have found which accommodated "adults only". It is offers perfect relaxation. We were very happy with our outlook onto the road as there was always something to watch. Our balcony got the morning sun which was nice to wake up to.

Room Tip: If you want to watch sunbathers around the pool - choose a pool view room, otherwise we found outsid...

Stayed here for a week at the begining of May, good central location in town for all the shops and close to the front. It was a nice hotel and were allocated a spacious room on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool. Reception staff were helpful and very friendly and our room was kept tidy and clean and the toiletries were topped up when needed. When we arrived the Spanish pensioners were staying there and the food was just OK, but after they had left the food definately went up in standard and more choice. Champagne for breakfast with a large choice of fruit, breads, hot and cold food, coffee and tea and the evening meal had a very good selection of soup or cold starters, hot or cold food for main, salads and a choice of 3/4 deserts and cheese and biscuits. There was entertainment of an evening, which had a varied programme and some good turns were on. All in all I would go back there again as it is very central but if you want a sea view you would have to choose another hotel.

Room Tip: Overlooking the pool.

Returned home from Santa Eulia Wednesday, having gone out to celebrate our son's wedding, held in Amante Beach Club. Been to Santa Eulalia many times but first time in this hotel. Spanish hotels are always spotless but this was exceptional, the food was usual hotel Spanish type, all very edible and plenty of choice. The staff were lovely, always pleasant and happy. It was our anniversary out there also and the hotel gave us fruit and campagne in our room - very nice touch. So many of us were out there at the same time, it was nice to go back to the tranquility of the hotel. If we were pool addicts, we would have been a tad dissapointed, as the beds were so close and so many people saved them - sad, also people said the water was freezing. No worries for us as we went to the beach, which was a 5 minute walk away and beautiful. Excellent location, near to Marina, shops, buses etc; I have problems walking and found everywhere easily accessible. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel to older adults, not for youngsters!!!

Room Tip: We had a pool view room 225, very pleasant. Sun first thing in the morning.

Very clean hotel. Staff very helpful. Very good selection of food for all meals but similar each evening, meats, fish and salad buffets - should be something you would like. There is not a great deal of space around the pool. . Unless you have a pool view then you are overlooking a street and the apartments on the opposite side.In a good position for the marina, shops and beach

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a pool view
