“Excellent Hotel”

Just returned from a 9 night break at this hotel. We (my wife and I,both 60)found the hotel to be a perfect location close to the marina and ferry terminal, shops, bars and beach. The hotel is adults only and very quiet,we liked this but may not suit party animals. The room was very spacious with lots of drawer and cupboard space, tea making facilities were provided and tea and milk provided daily(no coffee)There is also a small fridge in the room, not very efficient but kept drinks cool rather than cold. The food was nice with lots of variety, several hot choices, some freshly cooked options and a well presented salad bar.Not a big enough outdoor dining area for us, you may have to wait if you particularly want to sit outdoors. We didn't visit the pool as we prefer the beach so cannot comment. As for the beach it is a 5 minute walk away a nice beach with soft sand but nothing like enough sunbeds available. There are 2 blocks of beds with parasols, about 24 pairs of beds per block. If you want beds be there to 'reserve' them at 8.30am when the attendant is putting them out.The price is 15 Euros for 2 beds and a parasol. As for the sea it gets deep very quickly. We did go out for dinner 2 nights of our stay and would recommend both restaurants.a restaurant below Hostel Central, try dates stuffed with cheese wrapped in bacon for starter. The other was the Pato Peking, typical Chinese restaurant but food excellent. Both on Carrer Saint Vincent. You can get good live music at the Mariners Bar 15 minutes walk along the promenade (with the sea to you left) the very last bar along.A different band every night except Sunday when they have a disco.

Room Tip: Pool view rooms balconies would be quieter some of the other rooms face the road

Excellent hotel, you just have to read the reviews to see why. People go back year after year. Admittedly the pool view rooms are overlooked but it's no big deal. We had a pool view on the fifth floor getting the sun in the morning. This was ideal as we could sit out at night before our evening meal and enjoy a drink without getting too hot. If we return to Santa Eulalia we will definitely book Envisa La Cala. Thank you to all the staff.

Room Tip: My opinion wold be to have a room with a pool view on the fifth floor.

Travelled to this hotel end of June with my husband we are in our late 50s early 60s but wow lots of older people no offence but shame if your under 40 miserable. You get dropped at top of road and walk down a side street, luckily I'd read this on here before but imagine not good if you are traveling alone. Our room was clean and plenty of storage, tea & coffee making tray, small fridge with complimentary water inside, very nice touch. We had paid for pool view which it was but found it very depressing as hotel shaped in U so you also look directly into those rooms to your side and opposite. Food was ok nothing special but if you are vegetarian unless you eat salad only and watch out vegs have meat sprinkled on them forget this hotel.
You can rent safe and get a €10 deposit back at end of stay, pool towels are €20 each but this is returned when you return them, you can change them as often as you like.
Nice stroll down to marina we didn't walk to beach as not our thing but understand it's not a long walk. Bus to Ibiza town is behind town hall purchase ticket before getting on €2 on return you pay driver, just make a note where you get on/off bus as all roads seemed same but we enjoyed our exploration of the roads! Coach is approx hour from airport we were last drop off and thomson reps tell you nothing when you set off on coach one couple we met had been taken to es Cana as driver didn't stop and they didn't know that he stopped at top of road not outside hotel. Air con good and ceiling fan but our fan made terrible noise so didn't use it. Nice hotel but wouldn't return.

Room Tip: Pool rooms very overlooked,

Perfect location.,close to marina,beach,shops,bars
Wonderful helpful staff, nothing too much trouble.on arrival at 9.30 pm we were greeted by name, given a refreshing drink whilst registering and after leaving our cases in our room were taken to the closed restaurant where 2 waitresses were waiting for us with plates of food and water. Very thoughtful.
Excellent food throughout the stay. The choice was unbelievable, everything from roast beef, sushi, salads, fresh fruit. An incredible choice for each meal, best of all being strawberries coated in melted chocolate for evening dessert, and let's not forget the free cava for breakfast.
Great service from all the staff. Carmel kept our room immaculate(apart from our own untidiness),Juan kept our glasses filled each night at the bar all served with care, and attention to detail, and Carlos and Marrian waited on tirelessly day and night, always with the "you're welcome' comment and smile. Reception always greeted you and we're very helpful.
Very clean throughout.
Good entertainment

Room Tip: Depends whether you want to look over the quiet pool or the interesting street. There was no problem...

We have just returned from a week at La Cala. Booked late ( a week before) we were surprised to get in to a place that had such good reviews. But we could not fault it. It suited us as we went b&b to explore local hostelries and is adult only!

Room was spacious, clean with plenty of storage and as there are no sea views I agree with previous contributors that a pool view is best. We were on 1st floor just above restaurant so it could be noisy. So a high floor pool view would be our choice. We did not spend much time in our room so it suited us. Staff were professional, helpful, keen to please. New manager charming!

I think it was great as we don't " do " pools. Probably a down side if you do, as there are not enough sunbeds for all guests when hotel is full. ( as it was when we left )
La Cala is a short walk to beach and to harbour with bars /restaurants overlooking sea or boats. (More stylish ones at harbour)

My husband and I visited Santa Eulalia for the first time this year, we found the resort to be beautiful and quiet. The hotel is perfectly located, a 2 minute stroll will put you in the heart of the marina a further few minutes and you'll be at the beach. The poolside area is compact and quiet, the pool was lovely and refreshing. The food was fabulous, a wide range of different foods over the week, we were spoilt for choice on occasion. The room was spacious, spotless and had everything you needed, cleaned every day. Highly recommend this hotel and the resort, we will be going again...
