We were recommended this hotel by friends of ours who had been there in the past. All in all I must say this is one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had on our many travels. The Panorama is officially rated 3 star, but this hotel far outweighs many 4 and 5 stars we have been to in respect of the overall package.
The receptionists, dining room staff, cleaners, waiters, bar staff and reps were all very pleasant and helpful, and couldn't do enough for you. The food was great and varied enough to suit everyone. The entertainment staff were absolutelly brilliant especially Jo Sloe. We will certainly be going back there in the future and can only think that if anyone had a bad time there, they may have been unlucky. I would rate The Panorama 9.9 out of 10. The one area needed to be addressed to make it a complete 10 out of 10 would be to have better or bigger wardrobes and clothes space. But hey what the heck.

Usually stay in 4* hotels so wasn't really expecting much from this to be honest. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

Yes, there are a few things that could be improved - the bathroom is quite small (if you are on the larger side you may struggle with where the loo is!), the fixtures and fittings in the bathroom have seen better days (particularly the shower fittings), and the wardrobe is weirdly designed so you can only get full access on one side. Apart from these small things, the rooms are kept very clean and would match a four star for everything else - such as fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, safe (although this was a bit of a rip off at €20 for one week), lots of English channels on the TV and a decent size balcony. A welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch as well.

The food at breakfast is one of the best I've seen with pretty much everything you could want, from fresh fruit (and fresh squeezed juice - which is really unusual) to a full English. I'm not a massive fan of buffet for evening meals, but the choice of food was good and quality was decent enough apart from on one occasion, which is pretty good going for a buffet. There is also a cheese board which, again, you don't often get. The wine list is a bit disappointing though - only a very small selection and it's not the best, but this could just be my personal taste.

One tip is to avoid the poolside snack area - had lunch here one day and it was not nice at all. There are loads of little cafes just outside the hotel which are really good for a reasonably priced snack at lunchtime (if you have any room after the mammoth breakfasts that is!)

The pool and lounge areas of the hotel are kept spotless and the lounge area is very well decorated.

Es Cana itself is a pretty little area and there are plenty of bars and shops etc on the hotel's doorstep if you fancy a change of scenery from the hotel. The boat trip from opposite the hotel to Ibiza town is worth a look as well.

I understand this hotel is going to be all inclusive from next year so not sure ill be back but it was a surprisingly good holiday and would recommend it if you just want to chill out for a week.

Thomson gold hotel visited first week of October, weather was really good, rooms were nice, ours overlooked the pool and had a partial sea view, room was recently refurbished and included tea and coffee making and a fridge, as well as a good selection of english TV programs, which was nice just to catch up on the news first thing - only real down side was the lack of drawer space, plenty of room but no drawers, room was cleaned every day.
Food was good, breakfast in particular was excellent, even had fresh orange juice, however we were a bit dissapointed with the Gala night, usually these have better food provided than normal nights, but not in this case, everyone got dressed in their best outfits only to be presented with exactly the same selection as any other night, only a few years ago the Gala night included Lobster !!!
The staff at the hotel were all very friendly, full marks to the bar staff for their sexy dance every night, special mention to the gold entertainment team, especially Jo and Jonnie thanks for a great time from quiz team L&M

This is the second gold hotel we have visited and I must say overall very good.Good location nice sea view room, clean and tidy good entertainment very polite staff. Having read the reviews before we booked disregarded the numerous comments about the dinning room ,but found them to be true.
The bulk of the room is very hot ,one evening seeing a gent with his shirt wet through with sweat, although the quality and quantity was generally good with something to suit most pallets, then the problems began, having decided what you would like constantly looking for crockery and cutlery to put it on and eat it.Tried varying times but still hit the same stumbling block.
Shame as everything else about this hotel was great ,plenty of sunbeds ,all areas clean and tidy, good bar service at reasonable prices. Joe Slow on the entertainment team brilliant one liners constantly, rest of the team good as well. Charlie s bar across the road a must. Reps very helpful too

Our 1st visit to this hotel but it won't be our last, The hotel has everything you need for a relaxing stay, its in a great spot close the beach, bars and cafe's .It has a lovely pool, gym and spa. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are on the small side but have everything you need, a fridge, tv and tea/coffee making facilities. The food is superb and caters for your every need, I think everyone in our group had put on a few pounds in weight. Although the majority of guests are older they were great fun and always stopped for a friendly chat (no rowdy stag or hen parties hogging the bar or pool area's). Would reccommend this hotel to all my family and friends.

Our 4th visit to the Panorama Hotel. It really is a lovely hotel and very clean. It has very good food which was always piping hot. I do agree with another report that the tables in the dining room are just a bit too close together. The majority of the guests are older but that is the norm in Thomson Gold Hotels. The reps [the blonde bomshells] were excellent as were the gold hosts Jo Jonny and Dave always had time for you and had a smile on their faces. Margaret entertained us with dancing and her cheese and wine tasting. The bar staff also worked very hard and entertained us with their nightly dance. The maids the dining room staff and the maintenance staff are all very pleasant, they cant do enough for you to make sure you have a good holiday. The reception staff were all very pleasant appart from one of the ladies who doesnt like it if you want to change rooms[ she will know who she is] All in all a very pleasant holiday. Just one other thing get rid of the Tom Jones tribute act and bring back Sean, and Lucas [the hotel manager] your rendition of Baker Street with me and him was wonderful.

Room Tip: If you want a room overlooking the pool remember you have to pay extra or you might not get it

Just back from a 11 night stay at the Panorama. This was our third visit and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the resort. The bedrooms have been "upgraded" but unfortunately these were disappointing and not the quality you would expect for a gold hotel. Also trying to get a table for dinner was difficult, you have to find your own table which is difficult and when you do find a table often there were cutlery items missing. I think the hotel should go back to the situation where a staff member shows you to an empty table.
However, these things did not not spoil our holiday and the hotel staff, food, cleanliness were excellent, I will definitely visit again although I am rather dubious about the planned all inclusive option next year but I suppose time will tell.

Room Tip: Worth paying extra for a room overlooking the pool
