Just returned after a week 28th May 2014 at the Ibiza Panorama hotel, and after reading the previous reviews I cannot believe that we were in the same hotel. we had room 522 sea view and after the first night requested a room change to one facing the pool. we met with resistance from the Thomson rep from the very start and never got the room change. Our request for high floor, sea view and a quiet room were not compatible. Right in front of the hotel is the main resort road, revellers would leave Charlie's Bar and other establishments very late or should I say early in the morning and the noise was bad. As for the food, poor choice, little of it and badly cooked.

Room Tip: Although the sea view rooms have a super outlook over the bay, the rooms facing the pool appear to h...

Have just returned from a two week all inclusive break to Hotel Panorama,in Es Cana with my wife, our first here, but not to Ibiza. Our room on the 4th floor overlooking the pool, was basic, but clean and comfortable. It had a balcony, but with only a couple of rainy days, in otherwise glorious sunshine, not much time spent there.
The dining room was a busy noisy place, but choice of food brilliant, excellent breakfast , good lunch, and different soups and showcase cooking every night. My wife loved the huge selection of daily fresh fruit.
Beer and house wines very good, and spirits at the bar.
The staff throughout the hotel in all departments, worked so hard to please you, and rate as some of the friendliest we have experienced anywhere.
From senior management to cleaners, all very good
The very talented Hotel Manager, also a gifted saxophonist played along with a guitar duo one evening, his rendition of "Local Hero" Dire Straights and Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street, excellent.
The Thompson Gold Production team entertained some evenings, very polished singing acts, across a range, of interest.
Now to a highlight, Harry and Hayley, they have been written about before I notice.but what a hard working team, from daytime activities around the pool, ( sciatic nerve prevented my involvement ) through to late at night.
They interacted with a cross section of guest to make all feel welcome.loved the Yorkshire accent Harry.
The Hotel is ideally situated to shops, beach, bus station and frequent boats to St Eulalia, Cala Longa and Ibiza town.
Enjoyed the holiday, met some lovely people, and would highly recommend

Great location facing a small bay with a small promenade - Room 523 in Panorama 1 had this view and could not be bettered. All staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Very good food at all meals - even a very good fry up for breakfast, including British style black pudding, for those who like it. The drinks, even at mealtimes were amazingly cheap - a 500ml bottle of good house red for 4€ - better that outside bar prices although both food and drink in the town appeared cheaper than in Majorca and the Costas.

Nice clean and sensibly sized pool area. The evening entertainment was of a very high standard although the room was a bit regimented with all the chairs in rows. Please note that the average of the clientele (including ourselves) were about 60 - 65 when we went in mid-May so younger visitors beware.

The resort is very pleasant and small but the bus and water taxi services to Ibiza are cheap and reliable if you wish to travel further afield. For lunch in the town I would suggest Jacaranda about 200m on the right as you turn on the prom from the hotel or the café about 200m to the left on the beach side corner of the road just after the water sports.

Room Tip: Well worth having a sea view room on floors 3-5. The first two floors had deep balconies that would...

Good all-round hotel. The food got better and better as time went by. The weekly gala night was amazing with food displayed in beautiful ways. The managers cocktail party was also great with free cocktail and manager is very good on his saxophone. The entertainment team are very good with regular quizzes and games during the day- Harry is hilarious. The restaurant team are all very good and assistant manger Geraldine is excellent , helpful and knowledgeable on the area.
The professional entertainment acts at night are the best I have ever seen in a hotel.
Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I have just returned from 11 nights at this lovely venue, hotel is clean and tidy, the food of a good standard and lots of variety. The icing on the cake is Harry and Hayley the daytime and evening entertainment team, they actually made our Holiday taking time out to make sure everyone on holiday had a cracking time, seeming to bring the residents together so that it felt you were on Holiday with a load of friends. The rest of the Entertainment Team including the brought in entertainers were also friendly and I must say made a fantasic Holiday Experience. Best Holiday we have had for many a year

Just got home from a flying 4 day stay at this hotel. Booked last minute all inclusive for bargain price,(£200), and really only expected average. How wrong we were. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly and the food was very good compared to other all inclusive holidays we have had. The Estrella beer was lovely, it's £3.50 a pint in the pub up the roadster home, so that was a refreshing bargain. The beach was 30 seconds walk away and was beautiful and uncrowded.
The hotel was quiet as the clientele were mostly over 50s, so it's not ideal for the younger holidaymakers expecting a lively time. Hotel had entertainment through the day and into the evening, and that's not something we normally bother with, but looked good if you fancy it. I was pleased with the fact that the reps didn't try any hard sell to get you involved, it was all very laid back.
We only took a bit of hand luggage, so only had shorts, albeit, tailored for smartness! However, this fell foul of the long trousers only at dinner policy, so every evening I had to hide behind my wife and sneak in. Whilst I wasn't told off by the staff at all, it would be best to make sure you have at least one pair of smart trousers for the evening meal.
Our room was basic, twin beds, balcony with ok view, bbc TV, but with a last minute booking, we couldn't expect much more.
Booking out with flights home at 10pm, we were offered a courtesy room for an hour late afternoon free of charge which was super. That was a first for us as there is usually a £20 or similar charge. In fact, for our 4 day stay, we spent 8 euros, 4.50 on headache tablets, 2.60 on a newspaper and 1 on a disposable razor! There was no need to spend unless you need a few tacky trinkets to take home.
Overall, a great choice if you want a quiet relaxing holiday.

Room Tip: There are rooms overlooking the sea, get one if you can.
