“Nice hotel but not 4*”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

We stayed at the start of June in a large group. The hotel is situated perfectly for a nice quiet stay but within easy walking distance of the town centre and beachfront. Staff were friendly. This was a clean and tidy hotel, but not 4* - the restaurant food was adequate with a reasonable choice but no water at dinner was a surprise. Good spread for breakfast, again nothing special but you could have a decent fill. The big issue for me with the restaurant is that there is a rule for the evening that gents have to wear trousers - fair enough in a higher end establishment but this really isn't that. I was in tailored shorts and a polo shirt arguing the toss as to whether I could eat that night, and tracksuit bottoms and trainers was acceptable... common sense prevailed but it felt a bit fawlty towers.

There is a good lending library to pass the time by the pool. Loungers were abundantly available but it was early season and they may be in short supply when busier.

Tres Torres is situated fabulously for the marina and beachfront. Comfortable beds, good aircon and a nice shower. We didn't pay the earth, and so shouldn't expect it - but with a couple of quite easy tweaks, this could be a lovely little place to come back to.

Room Tip: The basic rooms are very small, worth the upgrade for something bigger. The smaller ones look out o...

We have just returned from 11 nights stay at this hotel and it was almost faultless .It was one of the first hotels to be built in the resort so it was a little vintage compared to the more modern ones and of course smaller, but, that was a bonus as we never had to queue or wait to be served ,and the staff we wonderful nothing was to much trouble ,always a smile and a greeting whatever time of day .The food was very good ,waiters were sharp and very attentive clearing dirty plates away from tables as soon as we finished each course and taking them straight into the kitchen ,so no trolleys with dirty plates or work stations where dishes were stacked ,which I am sure no one wants to see when eating .We had a wonderful view over the harbour and sea from our balcony and we walked straight out of the hotel onto the promenade .It was quiet at night so we slept well ,mainly couples and older guests although there was a childrens pool .The entertainment was low key but plenty to go to in resort if we wanted a more lively night .The only fault I found was our bathroom need a make over ,the room had been done and I think it was on the agenda to be upgraded at some point .Overall we found the hotel excellent and would not hesitate to stay there again .

Room Tip: High floor with sea view is a must !

My 3 friends and I have just spent 4 nights at the hotel and were really impressed. We'd booked an interconnecting room which consisted of a double room with bathroom and sofa and then a separate room at the back with its own large bathroom. The hotel was really clean, looked as though it had been recently painted and had very friendly and accommodating staff.
I'd highly recommend staying in this hotel and resort in Ibiza.

Room Tip: Room 101 was the room we had which had 101B adjoining it, perfect for a family or group of friends.

Had some doubts after reading reviews before we went in June, always stay a month so its a long time if hotel isn't that good. This year we found everything to be excellent except guests who grumble and expect 5* Plus. New head waiter who is excellent, lots of changes in the dining room, good choice of food. All the staff from reception, bar, waiters, chef and team all very friendly and helpful, the cleaners are excellent, friendly and work very hard. We have stayed at this hotel for many years and look forward to next year and will not take any notice of the bad reviews and the grumblers. The view from the 4th floor overlooking the marine is excellent you cannot put a price on it, Santa Eulailia is lovely, relaxing and still is traditional.

Room Tip: 4th Floor, room 412 excellent position.

Stayed at this Hotel for two weeks with my husband & son (18). It's a lovely quiet hotel in a great location overlooking the marina. Only a ten minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach along the promenade. As for the hotel the bedrooms have been refurbished but the bathrooms are a little tired so do need updating. Apparently it's the oldest hotel on the resort! Now the hotel has been refurbished seaview rooms are for couples only which is disappointing. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and my son was impressed with the english sausages. Evening meals were ok but the food wasn't always very hot and the different meats were not the best. The restaurant manager was very pleasant, always had a smile. Be aware no shorts for evening meals, apparently the rep said all 4* hotels may follow this policy. There was very little entertainment which suited us. The rooms were very clean, cleaners & staff very friendly. The pool was small but ok, needs some attention on the steps though. Towels are left on the sunbeds which is very annoying when they are empty for some of the day. The buses are frequent - 15 mins to the bus station and usually cost about 2 euros each way, you can always get the ferry back otherwise. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday then this is the place for you. This hotel should probably be a 3* not a 4*

Room Tip: The seaview rooms are for couples only. Rooms for three or more people are at the side or back of th...

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for the first time in June for 1 week. Location overlooking marina is superb and close by to all the local entertainment in the evening, like the mirage bar and Flat walking on the promenade.
Hotel staff were excellent, would advise if getting sea view you get any floor room number 07 -10, for best views. Food for breakfast was usual fair, but plenty fruit and buffet to keep you going. Evening meals were excellent with plenty choice and always a cheery smile and welcome from the dining room manager and staff. Chef's were always quick to replenish food running out.
Relaxed dining even though it says no shorts for men in dining area. Pool area was good but could do with more attention. Any scots going there, can get Diet Irn Bru along at Ring o Bells bar, some 100yds from hotel.
Overall super break and would recommend to anyone looking for quiet relaxing holiday

Room Tip: Overlooking marina, but take note sea view in the eyes of the hotel and thomsons counts as anything...
