Just returned from Ibiza staying at the Can Sanso for 1 week with my partner and my kids (14 & 11).

This is an excellent self catering complex. The staff are hard working, friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and have everything you need, including balconies with table/chairs and a sun lounger, air con is payable locally (€20 per week). The pool is a decent size and we never had any issues getting loungers at any time of the day. The pool bar offers a great choice of food and drink at good prices, and the food is good standard. My only slight negative would be the location, but only if you're allocated a room which looks onto the main road which leads into Santa Eulalia centre and to Es Cana, as we did. The traffic noise from 5-6am can be annoying if you're a light sleeper. Other than that, its a 10-15 min walk along to the marina/esplanade, and unlike some other reviews, the walk is along a safe enough on a proper footpath. Its only less than 5 mins walk down to Babylon Beach, but this is a rocky area, no sand until you're along at the main esplanade. Santa Eulalia itself is a beautiful resort, loads of bars and restaurants to chose from. "Restaurant Street" has some fine dining places, as well as reasonably priced indian and far east restaurants that offer set price meals. On the sea front and marina area the restaurants along here are less "fancy" but still offer great food. We hired a jeep for the day (€95) and went around the island, up to Cala San Vincente and Portinax and down to San Antonio and then Ibiza Town. We returned to Ibiza Town one night on the bus (€2 each one way) for shopping and dinner and id highly recommend this, its a stunning place! We had a fantastic meal down near the marina in the old part of the town and the shops will equal anywhere, return taxi was €30.

This was our first time in Ibiza and I'm glad we chose it, so much more to it than San Antonio and the club scene, its a stunning island, unfortunately didn't have the time to visit Formentera so we'll hopefully go back sometime. Would def stay at the Can Sanso again, its great value for money and I've stayed at worse 4* hotels. Also, as they don't offer a late check-out, we used the courtesy room, which is great, 4 private shower/toilet rooms and a seating area and you can have access all day (you're given your own key). Its no wonder this place gets such good reviews on Trip Advisor, its well deserved, and we are quite picky!

Room Tip: Try and avoid a room that overlooks the main road to/from Santa Eulalia and Es Cana due to the traffic noise

Just back from can Sanso and like so many others don't know what the fuss is about. Rooms where good (studio), clean, everything you need if cooking (we ate out every night). Had a great balcony over looking the pool (204), have seen quite a few reviews stating that the noise is bad if staying near the bar, we weren't kept awake once. If Entertainment on in the evenings(some great nights) it's over by 1030, 11 latest and then everyone heads off to bed. Staff friendly and very helpful. Pools are good, crazy golf, tennis/football courts on site, there is a park which is sandy so my son didn't use it(each to there own). No reception but someone always available at the bar. Really enjoyed the food at can Sanso. Supermarket close by, smaller supermarket at neighbouring hotel. 10/15 minute walk into the town ( cross road close to apartments as the roads are busy further on down). Marina is really nice and some good restaurants. Water taxis are recommended to other parts of the island.

We stayed here for a week in June 2014 and loved it. We could not fault the accommodation. We had a one bedroom apartment (102) which was huge. Excellent facilities, a TV with a good number of English channels so you could watch football! Good location, easy bus ride or walk into St Eulilia (6 euros for a cab back) and an easy bus ride to Es Cana (10 euros for a cab back). We would certainly stay here again. We didn't use the pool but it was lovely with plenty of sunbeds, the bar was excellent and very reasonably priced. We ate in the restaurant twice and it was fine - not 5* but more than adequate. The entertainment was good in the evening. All in all a perfect holiday. Thank you Can Sanso
ps - not sure what all the fuss about the beds is - we slept really well

Best self catering in the resort, I was told! And by the way my holiday has just gone it was... Can Sanso has everything you need from a S/C holiday. Lovely apartments, friendly staff and in a great area. All in all a wonderful time. Babylon Beach is a must visit just a few minutes down the road. A lovely walk into the town, which is gorgeous. Beaches in both directions. Tear this morning leaving, that should say it all!!!

Everything about Can Sanso is great, we was given a massive 2 bedroom appartment on the top floor with kitchen No 314, it came with large fridge, 2 pan hob and a microwave, also all the utensils and pots and pans you would ever need, from when we arrived to when we left the place is spotlessly clean also next door is a big supermarket. We only ate 3 times at the restaraunt which was very good and reasonably priced as are the bar prices, I must highly praise all the staff from the gardener to the waiters and waitresses and not forgetting the cleaners, all who cant do enough for you and always have a smile.
The pool is cleaned almost every day and the pool area is mopped and cleaned every day before it opens at 9am (closes at 8pm), there was no rush to be up at the crack of dawn to put towels on the sunbeds either, plenty to go around.
If your looking for a quiet holiday you won't find it here as it is very family orientated which is great for them but can be a tad annoying if your a couple looking for peace and quiet.
There is also a lot of road noise from the main road although you do get used to it.
The centre of Santa Eulalia is around 15 minutes walk, although its down the main busy road and has narrow paths, the harbour has lots of lovely eating places and also a little way up the town is the restaurant mile.
A good tip if your a family would be ask for a ground floor appartment which have big balconies and if your a couple get a top floor, 312, 313 and 314 on the top have great views of the pool etc

All in all we had a fantastic holiday mainly thanks to all the nice people we met and the fantastic attention from all the Can Sanso employees and a big shout out to the London massive Darren and Marion.
