First time at Casa Luis for our family and we have been converted, this place is great. The service is first class, all of Luis's family make you feel so welcome. The rooms are huge, we had a 2 bedroom but we seen inside a 1 bedroom and they are a great size, very well equipped for self-catering. The pools have daily thing to do for the kids and adults and evening entertainment for both, the food was also a high standard. In all there is not 1 bad thing to say about this place and we have already booked to go back next year.

We have just returned from our Stay at Casa Luis, all I can say is BRILLIANT !!!!
The apartments are spotless and clean, plenty of space, well equipped and are air conditioned.

The Luis family really know how to make you feel welcome and are always available should a problem arise. We intended to eat out most nights and make the most of our new found freedom ( we usually stay in Hotels on Ibiza) but the daily 3 course fixed price menu of 12.50 euro was really good, all freshly cooked tasty food with a glass of wine and snapps to finish. Julie the restaurant manager is on the ball and has everything running like clockwork- excellent .95% of the guests are from the Irish republic and has a very family friendly feel.

The only downside was the rock hard beds ! It took a little while to get going on a morning after a night in them but all the positives more then made up for this.

To sum up, the Casa Luis compares to most of the 3- 4 star hotels we have previously stayed in- well done Casa Luis

Room Tip: Room 14L is good overlooking the pool on the 1st floor ( 1 bedroom apartment )

Just back from the casa luis apartments after a two week holiday. The apartments are big enough, but a little dated! We had a one bedroom as the two bedroom seem impossible to book and are kept for returning clients! The bedroom had ample storage and the sofas out in the living area are comfy. There is a long cupboard with extra shelving and storage in the living area also. There are two rings to cook and a fridge, also table and chairs in living area. A hair dryer was provided and iron and ironing board. Strangely, no mirror in bedroom and we could have greatly appreciated a ful length one in bedroom. The balcony was lovely and spacious with table and chairs also. We were overlooking the pool area, which could be noisy early morning with kiddies up early! Also late revellers coming home early morning and talking very loudly! The cleaning was every second day, fresh towels, and general clean. This suited us fine and the bedlinen was changed weekly. We were in the block across from the main one, and were both amazed and dismayed to find no lift, although there are three floors!I don't know how many women my husband helped carry luggage up several flights of stairs, or how they would have managed if he wasn't so helpful! I did feel sorry for families with babies and buggys, having to haul up and down those stairs! There are two pools, both quite small, and I feel one would really benefit with a slide for the kids and teenagers. Plenty of sun beds, but as usual there are people who continue to hog beds with towels and may never sit on them all day! These are selfish people and I suppose you meet them everywhere! It was hard by times to get a sun umbrella, and maybe casa luis needs to get more of these? The reception staff were wonderful, efficient polite and helpful, especially chris. We ate at the snack bar the first night we arrived. It was average, but good friendly service.Wear comfy walking shoes because the town is a 20 min walk away, but so worth it!! Restaurant street is a must, and you could eat there every night! Wonderful place and gorgeous food. Visit the mirage pub, a must for entertainment! The skiffle kings were just great! Different entertainment every night. The hippy market every wednesday is a great trip also, and only 5 mins on bus to es cana.Take a boat trip to cala longa beach also, just paradise! All in all we enjoyed our stay immensely. Casa luis tries very hard to entertain the kids, (fair play to versace!) and is in my opinion above average. We would definetly return, just hope for more umbrellas at pool and a lift in apartment blocks!! A MUST!!!

Room Tip: If you have kids maybe opt for apartments across from the main building, but not overlooking the poo...

I have to agree to CarlMacca's review further down about mixed feelings. We had exactly the same feelings as him.
The apartments are really big, great for me, my husband and my little 11 month old. Good size lounge area with tv, kitchen area with cooking facilities, fridge, microwave (which needed a good clean, showing signs of wear and tear, especially as I was sterlising bottles). Bathroom, good size with bath and shower facilities. Main bedroom with lots of wardrobe space and the cot they provided for my little girl was good, with all bedding providing. The air con unit was not that good, and just seemed to stay warm.
The reception staff are very helpful, they helped us out with a fantastic car hire deal, which we were very grateful as this was the highlight of our holiday (helping us to really expore the island).
The pools are fine, small but always beds around the pool most times. We didn't sun bathe a great deal and the small pool was just a bit too deep for our little one (no shallow seated area).
We ate once in the pool snack bar which was average, but service was friendly.
There is activities running throughout the day. There is a disco at night for the kids but started at a very late 9.30 pm...way to late for kiddies in my opinion, so we never went to that. The adult disco went on till about 2.00 am, and didn't we know about it! Our room was situated in the main apartment block and as soon as the smokers went out for a fag, thats all we could here, shouting, swearing, all sorts really. It woke my little one a number of times. If you want peace and quiet I suggest asking for an apartment away from the main block. If you like it lively..ask for one in this block!
There is a small supermarket on site but only opens from the hours 9 am til 5 pm or 5.30 pm. There is a Eroski supermarket just down the road which opens later.
Cleaning of apartments and changing of towels only happens every other day, which in my opinion, should be done every day. Especially in apartments where you cook food, bin waste - we had dirty nappies that were smelly due to the heat. Also we bathe my little girl every day, so fresh towels is a must really.
The apartments are situated a good 20 minute walk from the main resort. We didn't mind the walk, but next time we would prefer to be closer, as it was in a mainly residential area, so not much around and a bit too quiet.
Bus stop down the road will take you into Es Canar which was fab (only about 5 minute bus ride away). We really liked Es Canar as a resort as it was far more child friendly in the restaurants.
We did eat out on a couple of occasions and recommend Bollywood on the harbour for stunning indian food. Bar Dona Ana on the harbour was also child friendly with changing facilties.
We caught the bus into Ibiza town and caught the ferry to Formentera, both great experiences. Formentera was very hot for our little one, especially on the beach. Lovely place and ideal if you are a couple or friends wanting to explore and sunbathe on 'carribean like' beaches. I would recommend getting a scooter if you are able.
The car hire was fab - I highly recommend going over to see Es Vedra, stunning, got some fantastic photographs!
We love Ibiza and have been about 9 times in total to various resorts, before we had our baby. If I was to visit again with our baby, I would go to San An Bay or Es Canar where there are more child friendly facilities.
We had a great holiday, but sadly would not return to these apartments again.

Room Tip: If you like it quiet, ask for a room away from the main block. If you like it lively, ask for the m...

This was our first visit to the hotel and Ibiza and weren't disapointed. Me and my family 2 adults, 2 children (aged 7 and 4) had a lovely weeks stay at the beinging of june at Casa Luis. The hotel itself was very clean and had all the all the esstentials that you could need for a self catering holiday. We had everything from a microwave to a kettle to a hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a lcd tv which had a couple of english speaking channels. The hotel reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Luis the owner was also around with a warm and friendly greeting and a big smile! We had a room in the reception block which was fine until around 10.30 at night when the kids entertainment finished, which was when we found the other guests were noisy, We were on the 2nd floor which was directly oppersite the lift, which again was noisy at night when in use. The swimming pools were ok but felt that maybe there could of been a couple of slides for the kids as they are basic swimming pools. There is an on site supermarket which was great, but is only open from 9am til 5pm. But there is an Eroski supermarket about 5 minute walk away from the hotel. If you dedcide to stay at this hotel then be prepared to do lots of walking or hire a car! The nearest restaurants are about a 15 - 20 minute walk away. There is a selection of different restaurants around the harbour which is lovely and had some great boats! Just behind the harbour is a row of shops including a chemist. But nearly all of the shops close on sundays and many of them do close in the afternoon for siestas. There is a nice ferry ride you can take to Ibiza Town which is a stunning place to go and visit. The price of the ferry is 18 euros for an adult and 10 euros for a child for a return ticket. Other transport you can go on are buses which are really cheap and there is also a train that does different trips on different days of the week. We went on a saturday which was a 3 hour trip which took you to 3 different places one of which was to a hippy market. It also takes you on country roads which has some stunning senary and a fab guide who tells you more about the Island. Well worth the money. The beaches are fab. Some of which are cove beaches, perfect for relaxing and perfect for the kids to play.

Room Tip: Try not to book a room in the recepion block as it can get quite noisy at night.

Went here last year and booked again this year and we were not disappointed. This is a small family run and family orientated complex. Nice accommodation, safe for kids and excellent childrens and adult entertainers (thanks Raquel and Versace for a lovely week). Luis the owner is always around with a smile and an Ola! Food is reasonable on site and there are also lots of lovely restaurants around (a lovely one on the corner Es Farallo's I think?) Also lovely little typical spanish tapas bar on the left hand side on the way down to the town. Looks like a crappy cafe but the tapas is authentic and amazing and wine prices good too. Santa Eulalia is a lovely town with nice beach and promenade and its only a bus ride or ferry ride to Es Canor for something different and a lot of other places accessible too.

We were lucky to meet a lovely group of people on this holiday which helped make our week extra special. Hope to go again soon to Casa Luis.

We visited Ibiza last month and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. This is a family owned hotel and the best part is you get to meet the owners at the reception itself. If you are travelling as a couple, group of girl friends or for kids - it is an ideal place. Very safe and comfortable. We met Chris at the reception, who was very helpful. He made us an itinerary and connected to us to the car rental company. I am sure I would go back to this hotel whenever I next travel to Ibiza.
