waiters rude and some bar staff moody!
Aminnation staff were brilliant with the kids worked all day and night! One down point the evening shows horrendous!
Cleaning rooms dont think they know how to dust!

I have just emailed the supervisor to thank him and his team for a remarkable stay. This is my third trip here and I can't say how tremendous it is. The hotel is clean, well located just 10min walk from a great town, has amazing food, a lovely pool and community and an entertainment team who keep the whole "buzz" alive - particularly Sara, who is remarkable in her work. I'll be going back next year and is one of the only places I would say I can 100% recommend without hesitation. Dave Anderson, Newcastle, England

Just returned from a week's stay at Tropic Garden - traveling as a family with a 10 year old and a 16 year old.
We all loved this hotel : it's around 10 mins walk into town along a lovely promenade past all of the marina restaurants and bars. The beach is lovely - water is shallow and very clear. 2 Sunbeds and a parasol are 15 Euros. The town is really nice - good shopping if you want it. Lovely bars and restaurants too.
The Hotel is incredibly clean - rooms, public areas and pool areas re all spotless.
The Sunbeds are a bit of an issue - the day we left we were picked up at 7.30am so were up from 6.10 - I went out onto the balcony and there were people putting out towels and actually sitting on sunbeds! And as mentioned in some other reviews - some are broken and should really be replaced.
Food is pretty good - different every night with a choice of delicious salads, pasta, rice, pizza and always a chef carving meat or cooking steaks or fish to order. The wine in the restaurant was horrible - however you can order a decent bottle and if you're all inclusive you get 50% off. Averaged around 5-6 euros.
Rooms are fine - big balcony and main bedroom with a smaller kitchen with beds for the kids. To be honest we were hardly in our room so it was fine for us. The air con is very good - really quiet and effective. Beds are a bit hard and because of a waterproof cover over it made a really loud noise every time I turned round in the night. We had a 3rd floor, pool facing room and it was very quet at night - I didn't hear any door banging or chairs scraping at all.
All inclusive drinks include fab cocktails which are made to order so there can be a bit of a queue at night in the bar however it moves quickly and the staff are so pleasant.
In fact all of the staff were great - and as mentioned by everyone else - the entertainment team deserve a special mention - never pushy but managed to include everyone, and so hard working.
There is free wifi throughout although signal is a bit flaky in the rooms. Much better nearer reception.
We rarely return to the same place twice for our holidays as we like to explore different places but I would definitely go back to Tropic Garden and would recommend it to anyone.

Recently returned from a most enjoyable two weeks all inclusive stay at the Tropic Garden.

Terrific location only a 10 minutes stroll from the lovely town of Santa Eulalia where a wide promenade takes you to a marina and sandy beaches with excellent views across the bay.
The town has many attractive restaurants and bars and you can catch a boat or bus to other nearby resorts such as Es Cana, Cala Longa and Ibiza town.

The hotel was very clean and we found the reception, bar and cleaning staff all extremely friendly and helpful.

Our room was a little on the small side mainly because so much space was taken up by kitchen facilities which, being all inclusive, were never used during the entire fortnight.
The décor is also a little dated but we had a 3rd floor room with a nice sea view and it was quiet so sleeping was not a problem.

The pool area was excellent although a few more new sunbeds would certainly have been useful.

The food was very good with plenty of choice at all mealtimes for both kids and adults.

The outstanding feature of our holiday was the entertainment team who worked tirelessly all day to keep the kids entertained at the Kids Club and evening Mini Disco. They also ran sports events for all including water polo, pistol shooting, football, darts and table tennis. Somehow they still found the energy to put on a musical show most nights which seemed to be enjoyed by everyone.

Kayleigh, Gonzalo, Sara, Hans, Ana, Javi, Valentina and Jahiris - You were terrific!!!!

If you are a couple who prefer to be in a quiet hotel with fine dining, you may wish to go to one of the many adults only hotels in the area but if you have young kids and are looking for a fun time for all the family, you will have a great time at this hotel - we certainly did!

Room Tip: 3rd floor with a sea view was ideal for us. Lower floors poolside may be a little noisy for some.

We have just returned from a 7 day stay at the Tropic Garden. Our party included 4 adults and 2 children and we were given two apartments close together on the first floor at the rear of the hotel which was nice and quiet but didn't really have a view. The rooms were basic but clean and had all that you would need for a self catering holiday including a kettle, toaster, microwave and hob. I found the beds comfortable and the air conditioning was free and better than other hotels I have stayed in. We stayed half board, the choice of food at breakfast very good, with hot and cold food and drinks including cereal for the kids and a choice of eggs and bacon. The evening choice wasn't fantastic but catered for the kids. Just a shame there weren't more authentic Spanish dishes, even with half board you get free drinks including alcohol (lager or wine). The only downside was that when it was busy it was almost impossible to get hot food. There was no organisation to the way the food was laid out which caused absolute mayhem and lots of arguments among guest all trying to squeeze into queues where they could. This is definitely something the hotel needs to rethink.
The pool area was great and the kids loved the entertainment. The staff were friendly and nothing was forced on you. Sunbeds were difficult to come by during the second half of the week but if you are willing to get up early you could usually get at least two. However there were plenty of grassed areas where you could lay a towel. The evening entertainment was aimed at the kids with a mini disco every evening followed by a show from the entertainment staff. If you are happy to venture out of the hotel the Marina is only a 10 minute walk away and a lovely beach just past this with lots of bars and restaurants. Just a couple of streets up from the Marina is the main shopping street and a just off the main square is another street full of restaurants all reasonably priced. Overall I really loved the resort and the hotel made a good base and I would have no problems staying here again.

Room Tip: As long as you don`t mind a late night then I would try and get a pool side room

Just back from a lovely week all inclusive. The quality and choice of food really is excellent and I would say is the best I've had from any holiday hotel! Location is great, a very easy 10 min walk to the harbour etc - once we found the lovely promenade path- ask at reception for maps.
Only negatives are the apartments and particularly the corridors upstairs definately need bringing up to the standard of the downstairs reception /bar/restaurant/pool areas which are all lovely. The upstairs looks tired and in need of redecoration and maintenance. Usual issue with not enough sun loungers for all, and selfish guests reserving with towels pre-breakfast.
Entertainment team and staff work v hard and I would recommend this hotel to any family.

Our family was made of my partner and I and 15 year old son we were there for 2 weeks 09/07/2014-23/07/2014. My mum and dad came for 1 week 09/07/2014-16/07.2014. What a great holiday. Transfer time from airport 45 mins. We arrived at hotel about 10am our room was ready so we could check in. Safety deposit box 19 euros per week with 20 euro deposit. You can hire pool towels for 1.70 euro per day or 7.50 euros per week non refundable so we thought it was a little bit steep as usually you hire them for refundable amount usually about 10 euros. My mum and dad's room wasn't ready but when they did check in they gave them choice of 2 rooms. They choose one by us. We had room 1024 it was a lovely quiet room. No noise had sun in the morning nice and shaded in the afternoon. Rooms were good spacious as we had a apartment. Great shower and air conditioning. My only gripe is we paid adult price for 15 yer old but he gets put on sofa bed as per usual these travel companies and hotels need to either charge for child and sofa bed, or charge adult price and give a proper bed to them. Food was excellent for all of us we didn't get fed up as the choice was plentiful. Restaurant on our last few days got really busy and hectic they needed more staff on clearing tables and relaying them at night time. Drinks were good but queues at bar our 2nd week as hotel got busier needs more staff as the staff work very hard but struggle the amount of people. Hotel very clean. The pool we didn't feel was a adequate, as it was on the small size, which meant there was a shortage of sun beds and parasols. Do not leave your sun bed unattended as your towels and belongings will get removed by the lifeguard for other people that are looking for sun beds and parasols. it didn't happen to us but we did see it happen everyday. We wasn't expecting a lot from the entertainment we never usual bother with that sort of thing. i thought my son may of got bored with us adults. How very wrong I was. The ENTERTAINMENT TEAM was brilliant, fantastic, talented and great fun. My son Morgan was able to join in with most of the adult games. Won certificates in table tennis and pistol shooting.
The entertainment team was brilliant in making his holiday great. We aren't ones to join in but they never pushed us too either which we thought was good. So a great big thanks too Javi,Sara,Kayleigh, Gonzalo, Hans, Jahiris, Valentina and Ana.
