Everything about the Hotel was fine, clean friendly. All Staff were helpful together with reasonable prices at the bar. Outside was a different matter.

Firstly the children's pool was never used during our two week stay, and children in nappies could always be found in the deepest part. Not good. With numerous ball games taking place the area was like a war zone. Children bickering about who was winning, parents throwing to children outside the pool who had no idea of how to catch a cold let alone a ball meaning that the ball was bouncing round holiday makers trying the enjoy the sunshine. All this was under the watchful gaze
of the Life Guard, who did nothing to ease the situation. More like Tin Plate than Platinum.

The only local bar( Babalon Beach) took full advantage of its position and charged 12euros for two beers, once bitten, need I say more.

Regarding Thomsons, we had to get up at 3.00am to catch our 06.15 flight, on arrival we made seven drop offs, and when arriving at the hotel our room was not available until 2.00pm, some Platinum service.

Apart from the above we did enjoy our stay, but will not return.

Room Tip: Only two stories so rooms not a problem

In June our family , husband , son , daughter-in-law, 14month granddaughter and myself stayed at Hotel Santa Eularia . We had a most enjoyable stay , even from the beginning , nothing was too much trouble for the staff ,when we arrived at 2am ( 3 hours late ) the night staff quickly produced a bottle of milk for the baby .
Breakfast was a delight to come down to in the mornings , as there was such a variety of food , to suit everyone's taste . Again staff were most pleasant and accommodating .
Bedrooms and public areas are very comfortable and well maintained . Good facilities and pool area .
A beautiful roof terrace was opened the day we were leaving and we were just sorry we had not been able to use it , as it looked an amazing place to watch a sunset and enjoy a cocktail .
The hotel is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the town centre , but we found this quite pleasant after an evening meal and also there was no problem with outside noise disturbing sleep.
A very good holiday .

Room Tip: Room with a sea and / or pool view.

Just got back from 10 days here and whilst the hotel somehow lacks the 'wow factor' in all aspects its a pretty good hotel. Most previous reviews say it all but hopefully the following is a good summary:
POSITIVES
Staff are great, helpfull and nothing is too much trouble
Rooms are large and airy. We opted for a sea-view and it was worth the extra with lovely views.
Hotel is very clean - maids etc do a fantastic job
Restaurant is very good. Food is good quality, fresh and varied. Couldn't fault either breakfasts or evening meals.
Pool area whilst a little small (for size of hotel) is lovely, withy nice gardens and quite spacious.
Pool bar and terrace provides nice snack lunches and somewhere nice to sit in the evening.
Chill out zone on the roof is very nice. Probably a little hot through the day but very pleasant in the evening. Still very new and modern (only been open about 7 weeks)
Good aircon throughout
Pool towel hire we like a lot
Drinks etc not overpriced
NEGATIVES
Whilst in a quiet location and whilst only 20 mins walk to Marina and town, that 20 min walk does take its toll by the end of the holiday. Taxi is about 5 euros so not too bad. The quiet location also means that apart from one 'bar' (Babylon Beach) there is nowhere quick to walk to for lunch or a drink. The quiet location will suit some but not others. I think we were kind of neutral about it.
Lack of sunbeds was a constant issue around the pool. By 9 nearly all gone and lots of 'reserving' going on.
Very expensive Wi-fi. I thought that was a bit much.

All in all many more positives than negatives and we enjoyed the hotel very much.

Room Tip: Sea view best but have to be paid for. Sound proofing is an issue so try and get 1st floor or at end of corridor

We're just back from Ibiza a place where Spain shows it's worse profile. Everything in Ibiza is very expensive and you won't get value for your money . It's a dirty and dusty place, never seen flowers , where the only goal is to make maximum profit with the tourists. The Grupotel so called four stars hotel offers you just the bill for over 200 euros a night and access get to a scandalous Policy totally profit oriented . Rooms are not soundproof at all ,you live "in the same bed" with your neighbours , maids are shouting mornings from 7 am in the couloirs, we deserve 10 ml of shampoo for two weeks , toilet seat broken , wifi must be paid extra ,the room safe must be also paid extra , we bought half board but it's impossible to switch between lunch and dinner , lunch menu against cost offers a very small choice of dishes, no beach near the hotel , at the pool starts everyday the battle for a free sunbed , no pool service for drinks! Avoid to spend your money at Gruphotel or a better idea forget Ibiza there are so many other places where you get value and services for your money !

Room Tip: impossible the hotel is not soundproof at !!

The pictures don't do the hotel justice, as we were unsure in the days leading up to the holiday how good the hotel would be. How wrong we could be - the hotel was fantastic and the review saying it shouldn't be a platinum is misleading! The bar staff were great and helpful as were the reception staff and cleaners. The meals were great and always hot and plentiful. We usually visit 4 and 5 star hotels and this was a well justified rating for the hotel. The only downside was that the walk into Santa Eulalia was fine for the first week but became a bit laborious afterwards and the red dust ruined white shoes so be warned! Also the entertainment wasn't great although Four Jackets were the exception - they were excellent! There is a fair amount of smokers in the outside bar area which may bother you as it did us, but that was easily sorted by moving a table or so away. The sunbeds, although carrying notes saying not to bag, were bagged but if your are by the pool at 9:30 ish you should be fine and have a large choice. Old Ibiza town is a must if you do nothing else, with a taxi being the better option - it cost around €23 but was well, well worth it as the buses are cramped at best. Teenagers don't have much to do there as there are no water polo games or anything but not a reason not to go as it wasn't a big deal. Altogether a fantastic hotel and the best in Santa Eulalia within a respectable price range. Didn't want to go home!
NB - the pool rooms and sea view rooms are well worth the upgrade!
