We stayed in one of the two-bedroomed, third floor apartments during the first week in July, and enjoyed a really lovely and relaxing holiday.
The apartments are spacious and very clean, with the most stunning views over the beach and out to sea. The balcony was large, and pleasantly shaded during the hottest part of the day.
We weren't troubled by the lack of air conditioning, as the apartment was generally cool and airy, and we could move the supplied fan around as we felt like it.
The cleaners came every second day, and kept everything immaculately clean, providing fresh towels and sheets each time.
The shower over the bath was powerful, with a plentiful supply of hot water.
The pool area was clean and pleasant, and there seemed to be a lot of new loungers, so there were more than enough for everyone. The only reason for anyone to reserve a particular pool-side spot, was that there were a very limited number of brollies under which you could find a bit of shade from the sun.
As this is a very small block of apartments, most faces quickly became familiar, and there is a relaxed and friendly ambiance. All staff were extremely helpful and pleasant (particularly Monica), but were unobtrusive.
The location is of course absolutely fantastic, the beautiful promenade, beach and sea being a two minute stroll from the apartments.
The apartment kitchen was sufficiency well-equipped to make it quite possible to have breakfast and lunch there (and very handy to have well-equipped supermarkets nearby) but it was lovely to have such a choice of bars and restaurants along the promenade. We enjoyed some very pleasant meals in a variety of restaurants, and often a good choice of live music afterwards.
One thing we did notice this, however, was that there seemed to have been a significant increase in the price of restaurant food during the year since we were last in St Eulalia - just about manageable this year when we were a family of three, but would have felt very expensive if we were paying for five people to eat out every night.
Many reviewers have mentioned nocturnal noise from the street. Initially we kept our windows closed, but then had to open them to get some air. And we found then that the noise could be extremely loud at times - it's hard to understand why dogs are allowed to be outside and barking for hours at a time. As others have commented, there are also motorbikes and refuse lorries etc etc.
I suppose it depends on whether you tend to lie awake all night fretting about it, or just fall back to sleep. I seemed to become acclimatised to it quite quickly, and would just drift off back to sleep, feeling quite relaxed about being able to catch up, if necessary, over a siesta on the following day.
Overall, I would very highly recommend Ros Apartments, and St Eulalia for having all the ingredients for a very enjoyable holiday in beautiful surroundings.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the second or third floor

The Ros Apartments are situated at the end of the promenade in Santa Eulalia and short stroll to the beach. All of the rooms face onto the ocean so if you are up early enough you will see some wonderful sunrises. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning but a small portable unit is provided which you can take turns using. The road outside the apartments is very noisy during the night if you try to leave the windows open. You can hear everything from dogs barking to bin lorries/coaches/cars/motorbikes etc. zooming up and down which could be a problem if you are a light sleeper. It seems to go quiet between about 4am and 6am until a cockrel crows and that starts the dogs off barking. The rooms are spotless but very dated. There is a maid service every two days where they provide fresh towels and sheets. Monica is the most friendly and helpful person and can direct you to the supermarket etc. if you want to stock up the fridge. The pool area is small but adequate although could also do with an update. We never had any problems finding a lounger, there was always plenty to go around, even if the usual suspects still rush down at 9am to lay out their towels! The umbrellas were looking a bit shabby as we're some of the sun loungers. The ladder into the pool was broken which was a little dangerous. The water in the pool stains your swimwear yellow which is very bizarre! The apartment we had (205) was a good size with plenty of room for a family of five to spread out and relax with a balcony area with space for a table and four chairs. I didn't bother to use the two ring hob or microwave but the fridge, toaster and kettle were enough for us to make breakfast and lunch and then eat out for dinner. There is some noise from the tiled flooring (clicking heels, chairs scraped across the floor) but that is to be expected in a building of this type. There is a games room with air hockey and two pool tables but you can't actually play a game because the tables are too close together and too close to the wall! I won't be rushing back any time soon but then again I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the resort.

Room Tip: All rooms face the ocean but best views will be from higher floors (2nd and 3rd) - top floor rooms w...

It was our first time in Ibiza and feeling some apprehension about the "Party Isle", but when we got there it was brilliant. We were delighted with the area and the Ros Appartments. We wanted a quiet place, no rowdy entertainment and near to the beach. We got all those things!

We have young three kids, which is often a problem when travelling, but they set up a little bed for our youngest so all three could be together in one room.

Every room faces the sea and all have a balcony. It was spotlessly clean (if a little dated), with regular visits throughout the week to replace towels etc. The little kitchen was everything we needed, with a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and two-ring hob. The beds were comfy and the shower nice and powerful with no problems with hot water.

Small fee to use the room safe. No air conditioning, but there was a fan in the room. The temperature was spot on when we were there, so no problem about the heat. The building is nicely designed to stay pretty cool if you keep your shutters closed.

Some other reviewers have said about the noise, but at the time we went (last week in May), it was very quiet. There was some entertainment down the road a couple of evenings, but that was quiet by 10:30, and if we shut the door from the balcony, it was barely audible.

The staff are fantastic. We met some folk by the pool who have been coming back for 25 years, and I can see why. We will go back again!

Room Tip: Has three floors. Highest floors have a smaller balcony. We stayed on the top - room 303, and the ba...

We've been staying here on and off for the last 20 years - and never been disappointed. The apt block is set back slightly from the beach and all the upper floors have glorious views. The 5 one-bed appts are all on the ground floor - 3 front facing, 2 rear facing. The 18 two-bed appts are on the next 3 floors - all front facing. The appts themselves are very generously sized and very comfortable. A good sized kitchen with 2 rings, microwave, toaster and kettle (no oven).
There is a lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds - and no-one bothers putting towels on sunbeds to reserve them - there's no need, it's all too relaxed for that! The snack bar downstairs is exactly that - snacks. There are plenty of restaurants nearby so there are loads of options if you don't fancy cooking. If you do want to cook there is a large Eroski supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Maid service is every other day.
Very comfortable relaxing apartments in a beautiful location.

Well actually the area is Santa Eulalia is a must stay for anyone wanting to see the beautiful island of Ibiza and not the wild, young clubtastic side the island is unfortunately reputed for. This is the place where the stars of the glamourous 50's and 60's first started to visit and buy homes including Elizabeth Taylor. It has a fantastic esplanade with spotless streets and cafes and restaurants galore all reasonable prices (for Ibiza that is- I found it had costs more like London where as I have been to the canaries for the past few years and the meals were half the price). The beaches are fine sand and the sea a bright blue turquoise. As for the Apartments Ros, well there are plenty of positives, it is a small block, a quarter of the size of most of the others and the location is 5 minutes walk from 3 large supermarkets, 1 minute from the beach and the start of the seafront walk with all the amenities, there's a pool with ample sunbeds around it if your quick enough in the morning to claim yours. The manager seems a nice bloke and has good intensions and the barmaid/receptionist is kind and helpful, both having a decent grasp of English. The 1 bed apartments are all on the ground floor with only 2 bed apartments on the upper floors. The rooms are quite dated and have no TV but are exceptionally clean and a decent size and for me they all have a bath which i love to indulge in on holiday and so many places don't. The biggest downside is the fact that the rooms are spanish style tiled floors and so every step, chair scrape, even voices are amplified by 10 and can wake you up anytime of the night, also the bin men seem to come anytime from midnight to 2 am and are not shy of slamming the bins down.

Ros apartments / Apartmentos Ros are situated at the 'river' end of Santa Eulalia, set slightly back from the beach they are opposite Orquida and Riomar and behind Marsol Apartments. The beach is 25 meters to the front and to the rear there are residential apartments, further to the rear towards the bus station is a large Eskopi supermarket (5 mins walk).

All 2 bedroom apartments are front facing - beware if you book through Direct holidays/Thomas Cook as all 1 bed apartments (there are 4 of them) are on the ground floor 96 / 97 are to the front level with the walkway with tiny balconies and little view. 98 / 99 are to the rear and face onto the wall of the residential gardens - there is no garden view as suggested by Thomas Cook as the courtyard terrace is slightly below ground level and wall and hedge obscure any view, you do however get the residents pool noise. The rear rooms do get afternoon sun whilst the front of the building gets no sun after noon.

The lower apartments are all very noisy, there is a gas pumping station to the rear and this makes a constant hum, however this is preferential to the lower front apartments as they suffer from street noise and the comings and goings of guests. The bar is also located to the front. Lower floor apartments have a metal gate to secure the patio doors, however there did not appear to be any security issues as the owner is very attentive.

Ask for top floor to reduce 'surround sound'. At the time of staying there was a fault with the fire alarm - it went off 3 consecutive nights at 4am. It was however rectified before we left.

The apartments are basic but provide everything you need to prepare meals. The beds are tired and the maids keep everything very clean and tidy.

The pool area is nice but again the sunbeds are tired and broken.

There is no building work going on as suggested in early reviews.

Room Tip: Ask for high floor. Avoid 1 bed apartments - if you must stay in 1 bed ask for rear as it is sunny...
