Loved every minute of walking on the nice pathway without any cars! Only the sound of the ocean on rocks (or sand), with the scent of honeysuckle blooms. The path goes thru rock tunnels that are intriguing, and then past beautiful oceanfront homes. Boats can be seen in the distance on the turquoise waters.

We did the walk suggested by William above and had a fantastic time. The walk is not strenuous and the scenery is beautiful. We went with my parents (68 and 70 years old) and my 4-year-old and everyone managed fine. My son was skeptical about going for a "hike" but in the end had a blast scrambling over the rocks and playing on the beaches. We walked as far as the large Catalan flag on the hill (Calella side) and then turned around. On the way back to our car we stopped for an ice cream in one of the seaside towns.
Note: If we were to do it again, we would have brought some beach toys and a blanket for us oldsters. The beaches are small but quaint and perfect for a short stop.

I've been coming here for years and have only just seen that it has almost never been reviewed on TA. The most gorgeous seaside walk between the two villages of Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugell. Leave your car in either one, amble along for about twenty minutes to the other, have lunch, an ice cream, a drink or a coffee (la torre on the edge of Calella has the best views and is extremely reasonable) then make your way back. There is set of steps on the way out of Llafranc but otherwise it's not a difficult walk and you really do feel like you're in paradise.

A great stroll after a meal or before a meal or just anytime - fabulous views, amazing architecture and interesting local information along the route

A lot of stairs up and down and saw a lot of people struggling with pushchairs - certainly not suitable for wheelchairs in my view - unless sticking to the boardwalk along sant pol beach

Take drinks as nothing available on this section from sant pol to la concha
