Having been refused food at the nearby Saracens Head we arrived at the cosy Rose Cottage hungry and hoping for some food.

We were served promptly and ordered sausage baguette and Branson. This was really tasty and I really enjoyed the food .

This place had very friendly service & great views.

Really enjoyed our visit to this lovely tea garden. The sun was shining so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the stunning views across the river. Great menu choices at reasonable prices and the food we ordered was presented very attractively and quick. Very friendly staff, clean and tidy eating area. Could have sat there for hours watching the world go by.

We stopped here for an afternoon tea and weren't disappointed! Lovely young waitress served a delicious cream tea for three of us and a hot sausage sandwich for my husband.

Came as a family of 5 and got a table outside as the sun was out . The staff were lovely and friendly and food came quickly after ordering . Not one complaint from fussy children. Will definitely return . The views are beautiful and the children loved watching everyone walking up and down and going across in the ferry .

We stopped here for cream teas, after a day out walking in the scenic Wye valley around Symonds Yat. Beautiful situation overlooking the river, with plenty of action (hand-pulled rope ferry, pleasure cruises, and assorted canoes/ paddleboards) to watch. Given it was a bank holiday weekend, they were a bit overwhelmed, but we didn't mind waiting for the lovely cream tea, scones still warm and generous helpings of jam and cream. Happy to recommend.
