Beautiful Location and good food in restaurant. The door was connecting the accomodation from the pub was noisy when closing and this was annoying when trying to rest. Would probably stay again if we were not in the same sleeping quarters

Spent 2 nights in good clean accomodation, only had breakfast but that had everything you could wish for,if it was not on show you only had to ask.Staff very friendly and in/out procedures very good. Understand refurbishment is imminent by brewery that will improve what is already far better surroundings than in many I have stayed in Just hope price doesn't detract in future.

'We don't have Marmalade, because it's a Bank Holiday'.'
This guest advises others to bring their own. If you bring a large jar, you could make new friends
'We don't have ice.'
This guest suggests that ice can be purchased at Tesco in Margate for 99p.
'We don't have cold water, you have to have it at the temperature that it comes out of the tap.'
Dress code in restaurant for men - no shoes.
Dress code in restaurant for children - pyjamas.
It was warm during our stay, two fans were supplied in the room. The chamber staff saved us having to throw off the duvets at night, by not placing them on the beds and leaving them on the floor instead.
Good idea to take own loo rolls as these are given very grudgingly.

The room was lovely. The most comfortable mattress we've ever stayed in. Very quiet. Mobile reception poor. Not far from town by car.

Got to the hotel quite late and dinner was a bit rushed, I think they'd had some kind of birthday party in there, but I think we just made final orders, so evening meal wasn't the greatest fish n chips I've ever had. There though is where any complaints end, they upgraded our room when we got there, and though it wasn't overlooking the sea, the room itself was lovely, clean and roomy, bathroom was excellent, would've been great for a two night stay.
The breakfast was excellent as well, great service, the two folks serving us were brilliant and interestingly were a little older and had a great sense of humour, and there was no rush to get out, all very relaxed.
And finally the location, having checked in at night we never saw the surroundings, but with the sun shining through the windows during breakfast it became apparent how lovely the setting was. The hotel is on a bay (Botany Bay) and is just absolutely superb, and me and my girlfriend had a lovely walk after checking out.
Will be going back, brilliant....

We stayed as a family of four and the family suite was a perfect layout. We had a separate room for the children to share, a double room and a bathroom connected by a private corridor. Both bedrooms have wonderful full sea views and the hotel is a short stroll across the road from a lovely sandy beach.
Unfortunately the rooms are in real need of a refit, although they were clean. I guess the price would go up after a refit too!
As far as we were concerned, the real let down of the place was the food. We ate in the restaurant on our first night. We were the only diners and the food was poor. Breakfast was quite plentiful but not of a very good quality. For this reason we ate out from then on and the food would put us off returning. Perhaps it is normally far better, but the empty restaurant despite it having full sea views is probably an indicator of the usual quality.
All the staff we met were friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Fayreness during the summer. We knew nothing about the hotel and found it with an internet search engine. We chose this hotel because we could take our dog. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and extremely comfortable and we had some of the best sleep ever. All our meals were excellent with plenty of choice on the menu and very substantial portions. The soups were lovely. A great full english breakfast set us up for the day then back in the evening for an excellent dinner. The restaurant even gave us a bowl of sausages when our dog went off her food. I would really recommend this hotel and we will definitely be going back again.
