“Ralia Cafe on A9 North”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

Stopped here on the way to Coylumbridge.
Bought a soup and roll - had to pay extra for the roll and the butter, wasn't included with the soup. Soup was not home made - made from a packet.
Thought it was a poor show as is a tourist stop and not a good advert for Scottish hospitality.
Unfortunately this is the only place to stop between Bruar and Aviemore.
Toilets were outside the cafe - door hanging off one of the cubicles and pretty dirty.
Altogether more like a truck stop and staffed by foreigners
Not worth stopping here - keep driving.

“Coffee break with free 10 mins internet access”
Reviewed 28 October 2013

My favorite stop off point when heading North to Inverness or Dornoch. Coffee is spot on and they often have different soups which hit the spot as well.. Nice location and ideal area to let the dogs out for a stretch

“Nice place to stop for a quick snack and break on journey”
Reviewed 20 October 2013

We stopped here on our return journey from Inverness to Dundee. On the downside it was rather difficult to find coming across country to Newtonmore (we'd taken the scenic route back south, travelling down the west side of Loch Ness). We ended up going back onto the A9, turning around, and following road signs from there. But once found it was an excellent place to stop. The cafe is clean, spacious and pleasant, and there was a good range of sandwiches and snacks, as well as cold and hot drinks. I also appreciated the free wifi. And there's a good range of whiskies to buy. I bought a small Laphroaig bottle to take home. It's also good that there's tourist information on site, and the toilets were nice and clean. We will definitely be stopping here again in future.

“Nice but quite pricey”
Reviewed 18 October 2013

I've stopped a Ralia a few times. It is superbly placed just off the A9, so an excellent place to stop if you are looking to break your journey. The coffee is very good, and reasonably priced. The food is more pricey though so you might just want to stick to a coffee.
