“Fantastic, lovely, brilliant wee Cottage”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Don't expect huge rooms, space indoors or much head rooms inthe bedroom BUT if you want to stay somewhere where it's cosy, clean, romantic, just an easy to relax wee Cottage surrounded by stunning countryside and can watch telly whilst laying in the hot tub then this is the one to book!!! We will definitely be back!

“Lovely peaceful place”

Charming cottage well stocked with the simple things you usually need to take yourself, like tea, coffee, sugar. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and dishwasher tablets. Sky TV in lounge, bedroom and summer house. Relaxing in the hot tub in summer house is terrific after walking during the day. Good sized garden with picnic table and barbecue equipment. Recommend Glen Hotel at Newtonmore for bar lunch, but only served between 12 and 2 (we arrived slightly after 2 not knowing meals weren't available all day but they still managed to provide food despite having to prepare for a large wedding reception that evening). Had about 4 real ale taps including guest beers. Lovely, well signed, walks at Feshiebridge include the Frank Bruce sculpture trail. Good sized Co-op at Newtonmore. Fire wasn't made up for our arrival as promised. There were no firelighters either, however a call to Matthew provided access to the shed for firelighters. Could possibly do with a wee nest of tables in the lounge for placing drinks on but that's a minor complaint. Would definitely return.

“Lovely little cottage in a beautiful location!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

A fantastic cottage in a truly stunning, secluded location. The whole place was perfectly presented, very clean and tidy, with lovely little luxuries like tea, milk and biscuits when we arrived. Amazing views from the garden, which was much bigger than I expected, with a lovely tyre swing and tree house.

The bed was possibly one of the comfiest I have ever slept in, which made for a very relaxing stay! The log fire and hot tub were also wonderful luxuries to have (the hot tub was especially appreciated as my partner and I had just run a marathon!). Shower and bathroom were absolutely fine, water always hot, the living space was cosy and comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped.

I'd definitely stay here again! Perfect!

“Fantastic remote getaway”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We spent 3 nights at Pipers Cottage. Loved the remote location and surrounding countryside. Great for walking. Clean cottage, well equipped kitchen and Woodstore. Very good size for two people, would be very cosy for more. Felt like a home from home. Hot tub topped it off, will be back!

“romantic getaway”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 May 2014 for a stay in December 2013

Really enjoyable winter break, did not need to leave the cottage. Had a giggle running round to the hot tub in outbuildings in the snow. The open for heated up the small living space quickly and made it feel very cosy and romantic. Had everything we could possibly have needed to escape the rat race for a gloriously relaxing weekend. Highly recommended.

“Fantastic stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 January 2014 for a stay in January 2014

We stayed at Pipers Cottage for my wife's 30th. The cottage itself is well equipped with a hot tub, Sky tv and all mod cons. The cottage is also within commuting distance of Newtonmore (15 minutes), Aviemore (35 minutes) and Boat of Garten (40 minutes). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Would recommend eating at Andersons in Boat of Garten and the Letterbox in Newtonmore. Both fantastic places.
