Stayed at the cottage for 2 nights and absolutely loved every minute of it! The cottage is extremely well equipped, and felt very homely upon arrival. The hot tub was also a huge bonus and the perfect way to wind down and get into the holiday spirit!
I was slightly concerned (due to other reviews) that I may have problems due to the low ceiling heights, being 6ft 5" tall myself! However I don't feel it impacted my stay in any way, and only added to the cosy feel of the place.
Would thoroughly recommend!

Stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The cottage has everything you need for a quiet holiday, the hot tub was a great extra. Beds are comfy, shower hot and kitchen facilities excellent. Loved the log fire!
Great place to stay, basic but with everything you need. Not ideal for tall people but perfect for a relaxing break.
We've just come back from a 3 night stay at this cottage and cannot wait to book up to go and visit again!
For peace, relaxation and a wee break away from it all - this cottage is perfect.
Very cosy, ideal for two people though could manage 4 to make it that bit cosier. Hot tub is perfect, kitchen had absolutely everything you needed, bathroom with heated towel rail was ideal and the bedrooms, though not offering much headroom, were clean and comfortable and the log fire in the living room with loads of firewood provided just topped it all off nicely.
Newtonmore is about 15 min drive away but the views along the way are stunning so it doesn't feel far at all. Loads of walks around the area and we went up to the cairngorms to visit the reindeer centre and brewery which wasn't far either and made for a great day out.
We actually booked the cottage before checking to see where it was on the map! We had a long drive but it was well worth it.
The cottage is perfect, very compact but has all you need for a very comfortable stay and the large hot tub is the icing on the cake!
This is not for somebody who likes to step out of the door a for 5 minute stroll to the pub, the nearest place is Newtonmore and that's about 10 miles away.
However, if you're looking for a relaxing few days away from it all, then this cottage gets 5 stars.
We would recommend it to anybody looking for peace and quiet and amazing scenery, and we hope to go back ourselves in the not too distant future, despite the long drive!
Stayed early March and had a nice few chilled out days.the owner seems to have just about everything covered for a pleasant stay. Lots of handy advice notes pinned around the cottage re tv instructions, hot tub advice etc. Good wifi ,which has very quickly become a must have for accomodation nowadays, but zero mobile signal, which for us was quite welcome. Hot tub was fantastic, photos don't do it justice regarding the size of it,and having a tv and remote control in there was a nice touch.
Selection of tea, coffee and condiments provided, along with washing up stuff incase you forget it. Do try and take everything you need as the nearest store would be almost an hour round trip including a scoot round the shop. Fuel for first fire lighting is provided along with plenty logs, but I would maybe advise taking some extra kindling and fire lighters along if you are not quite in the Bear Grylls mould.
Brilliant little find this! Nice quiet location for a relaxing break, excellent hot tub and log fire. Perfect for a couple or family
