“Great food in lovely surroundings”
Reviewed 25 August 2013

We stopped for lunch as we were passing and are very pleased we did. The food was delicious and very well presented. The tables are in the conservatory and there were lots of bird tables outside with many birds feeding and as it was such a pleasant place to while away time we thought it rude not to order some cakes too, which were equally delicious. Definitely recommended!

“Fresh and tasty”
Reviewed 21 August 2013

Went in for lunch on recommendation of others, and were delighted by the choice. We both went for the ploughman's lunch. The ham was excellent, none of this slimy packaged rubbish! The chutney was perfect, and the salad imaginative. Even the presentation was excellent. The cakes looked lovely, but we were full from the salad, so we've promised ourselves a return trip.

“Excellent”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

Great place for freshly made cakes, scones, light lunches...flat bread wraps are very good....tea & cake in the afternoon. Lucy & Tom took over the premises quite recently (prev Keepers Kitchen) made a few changes but kept the clean, fresh & friendly feel to the place.
Tom is the chef...and is very talented...the Rocky Road I had recently was very yummy.
Often meet a friend here for lunch...it's that sort of place.
Lovely gift shop area too.
It's open 7 days in Summer too.

“Please go!”
Reviewed 11 July 2013

What a fabulous coffee shop !
Delighted to have found this lovely place in Newtonmore, really good cappucinno, fantastic pastries and 'made by the owner' home baking...honestly to die for!
A great snack menu too.
Also a lovely gift shop, and as important, a lovely loo!
You have to go....!

“Worth a detour for the hot chocolate”
Reviewed 2 July 2013

Fantastic hot chocolate, one of the best I have ever tasted. Great Cullen Skink as your granny would have made it and accompanied by an excellent home baked cheese scone. Very friendly staff. Well worth popping in for a light lunch.
