This is a really good cafe. The staff are very friendly and the food is great. Homemade bread, cakes, soups and a really inventive menu. Not a good place to go if you are in a hurry but the quality of the food is worth the wait.

What a wonderful little tearoom /café in Newtonmore.
A wonderful range of home baking, along with lovely Arran Ice cream.
Other half had coffee and apple and coconut cake, he said the coffee was one of the best he has had out for ages, I tasted his cake, lovely and moist.
I had tea and scone. so lovely and warm along with fresh butter and jam.
Lounge with comfy chairs and sofas over looking the rear garden , lots of wild bird activity.
Lots of little nik naks on sale, and all served by a lovely welcoming couple.
Prices were very reasonable.

Popped in after a round of golf at Newtonmore golf course and so glad we did. We spent a week golfing in glorious Speyside and this little cafe was the best place we stopped for lunch. The surroundings are lovely with a wonderful little back garden full of feeding birds and the sandwiches were the best we had all week!
Well worth a visit and we will definitely be back next year!
Well done!

We stopped for lunch as we were passing and are very pleased we did. The food was delicious and very well presented. The tables are in the conservatory and there were lots of bird tables outside with many birds feeding and as it was such a pleasant place to while away time we thought it rude not to order some cakes too, which were equally delicious. Definitely recommended!

Went in for lunch on recommendation of others, and were delighted by the choice. We both went for the ploughman's lunch. The ham was excellent, none of this slimy packaged rubbish! The chutney was perfect, and the salad imaginative. Even the presentation was excellent. The cakes looked lovely, but we were full from the salad, so we've promised ourselves a return trip.
