This solid victorian house (1903) is contemporary and stylish yet still oozes charm and personality. The rooms are large and airy and provided us with one of our best nights sleep.
The hosting is discreet yet friendly and the breakfasts great. Nice touches such as a cafetiere in the room and fresh ground coffee, nice selection of teas and hot chocolate just add to the whole splendid experience.
Sounds too good to miss and it is!

I've actually lost count of the number of times we've stayed at Coig na Shee; so much so that it actually feels like our second home now, and Marion and Graeme are so warm and welcoming, that it feels like we're coming to stay with friends! The house itself is a dream, the rooms are so spacious and clean, the beds are so comfortable that it often makes it difficult to get out of bed in time for breakfast! But you'll be glad you did, because breakfast itself is to die for! Even with my variety of food intolerances, Marion and Graeme prepared the most wonderful breakfast which really keeps you going all day. The eggs are even provided by Coig na Shee's very own resident hens! We've stayed in almost every room at Coig na Shee, and they are all equally wonderful, however my personal favourite is The Firs, there's nothing like soaking in a hot bath with a view overlooking the trees and mountains at the back of the house - just heavenly. Can't wait for our next visit!

Quality B&B all the way. My wife and I had a very relaxing and pleasant stay in this lovely B&B during May 2013. It's clean, friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was the Firs. It was ideal. My wife is very fussy regarding her accommodation and comfort. Her verdict was that she would be happy to actually live in a room like this. Congatulations and best wishes to Graeme & Marion with a special thanks to Rosie for making our stay so pleasant. We highly recommend this guest house.

Room Tip: The Firs....total quality

We stayed in Coig Na Shee on way up to Ullapool from Edinburgh. Marion and Graeme welcomed us into their home and we felt very relaxed and comfortable in their top class accommodation. We enjoyed their five star breakfast and our stay was excellent value for money.

We were able to book two adjacent rooms within hours of arrival, and the owners were kind in staying up to welcome us late at night. Accommodations were very clean and well appointed, though one of our rooms (the Limes) had only a magnifying mirror in the bathroom and an inconveniently small shower. One member of our party found the inn to be uncomfortably cold at night, though admittedly we were there in February. However we understand that sacrifices are to be made in a beautiful old house.

Excellent hiking and outdoor activities are within half an hour's drive, which is fine on holiday, but regrettably there isn't much within walking distance. Nevertheless I would happily return.
