What a gorgeous house to spend time with family in.
We simply loved Badenoch. It’s clearly a horn that is much cared for. The dining room was great for more formal dining and the dark blue walls made it very atmospheric. The kitchen has an enormous table and was so lovely to sit and chat at breakfast.
The children that were with us loved the games room and kept them entertained while the grown ups enjoyed a glass of wine.
The fire pit at the front of the house was an added bonus and many evenings were whiled away chatting with a beer.
All of the bedrooms were bright, spacious and homely.
The house feels like a proper highland home with a quirky twist.
We loved it and can not wait to return.

“Brilliant property for a large group”
Reviewed 10 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

An amazing house for a big group, with a massive well stocked kitchen and a dining room table we could all fit around. It was well situated near the train station (but with no noise) so people could arrive by public transport. we were also presently surprised to find a fire pit and wood store which we made good use of in the evenings.

Thanks Yvonne, it really couldn't have been any better!

“Very pleasant”
Reviewed 5 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Booked this property for a family ski get together. It was very nice and pleasant. Yvonne did say that she is redecorating after our visit so I knew it would need a lick of paint. In saying that the property is very clean and did enjoy it. It does need upgrading but we know that the owners are doing this. We would have preferred the toilets to be ensuite but perhaps that is also in the plans. We did enjoy our time there and the views are lovely. The village has everything you would need too.
Would recommend staying here especially after its make over.

Thank you for your review. I'm afraid we are not going to be adding en suite bathrooms as we operate at the budget end of the market and it would reduce the number of bedrooms significantly and increase the price substantially. It's more a 'bring your dressing gown and slippers' family friendly house than a luxury experience. We try to keep up with the maintenance. Last year the whole roof was restored at a substantial cost. Any potential guests can ask any questions they wish about the house and the description online is quite detailed and as clear as we can make it. With best regards, Yvonne

“Great stay”
Reviewed 16 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

This property was so big it just went on and on, there was so much space for everyone. The house has everything you need and then some. The rooms are all very clean and well looked after. I did not get to meet Yvonne but she could not have been more helpful. I'm sure we will try to book Badenoch again.
We were a group of lads who went quad biking and clay pigeon shooting at Highland quad bike tours and would recommend them.
The local pubs are few but very friendly.
