Fantastic place to get away from it all OR to have fantastic exciting adventures - we've had quiet walks without a soul in sight, climbed mountains, our son has been quad biking, fishing and white water tubing at Rothiemurchus, and we've learned to sail boats on Loch Insh. Been a few times now, and will definitely be back.

My husband and I had such a great stay at the Highlands cottages. We staying in Larch cottage which was a one bedroom but there was more than enough space for us both and our cocker spaniel. Fully equipped kitchen, large bedroom and really useful boot room. Have to add too that we had the best weeks sleep in a very long time thanks to the blackout curtains and zero noise. The gardens surrounding are lovely and secure and really well maintained and there are two large fields down from the cottages which were great for walking the dog in the morning and evenings (plenty of rabbits to chase). Crubenbeg is only 30 mins drive south of Aviemore so we found it the perfect base for travelling in and out. The nearby Ralia service stop is a worth while stop off for lunch and coffee too.
All in all we loved our stay and can't wait to be back.

Another lovely stay at Crubenbeg. As soon as we arrive, we are relaxed! Brilliant for walking, eating, sightseeing and chilling! Get to the secret beach for a cooling dip if you can.
Made to feel very welcome by Sian, Cameron and Fran - many thanks!
Will be back again!!

Excellent accommodation in a very good location. We really enjoyed walking, bird watching and mountain biking all within easy reach of the cottage. This was our second visit and we will certainly return.

We had a great week at Crubenbeg staying in "Larch" cottage. This was a cottage for two, very comfortable and well equipped just what we needed after our days walking the local hills at Drumochter. The holiday home was ideally situated for a spot of "Munro" bagging.
Good things about our holiday were, friendly and welcoming staff, peaceful and pleasant setting, wildlife, lots of clear and helpful information about area and cottages provided, warm, clean, fresh and comfortable accommodation, great encouragement to recycle and be more environmentally aware, large porch for all the coming and going and storage of outdoor things and a safe fenced area to walk our dog. We also really enjoyed meeting and chatting with our enthusiastic and like minded hill walking neighbour.

Room Tip: I never entered any of the other holiday homes so can't compare. Our cottage was quite, peaceful...
