Stayed here for one night with my two young children. We were in the triple room, which was beautifully presented. Lovely welcome, beds very comfortable, fresh fluffy towels, everything was so clean and plenty of space. Breakfast was yum! We regularly visit the area, and I think we have found where we will be staying in the future. Best b&b I have ever stayed in, top quality.

We stayed at Clune House for 2 nights on 29th March in the triple room (Creag Beag) with our 3 year old daughter. We had a very warm welcome from Jane and Ian, and even our shy little girl wasn’t shy for long. The house and our room was immaculate and decorated/furnished to a high standard. The breakfast was the best we had had, even by hotel standards. We could choose from a selection of cereals, yoghurts, fruit, everything was presented beautifully and the fab cooked breakfast from a locally sourced butcher left us pleasantly full and only needing a small lunch! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay again next time we visit the Cairngorms. Thank you Jane and Ian for your warm hospitality and hard work!

Room Tip: Great location, only 15 minutes drive to Aviemore and less than 10 minutes drive to the Highland Wil...

Booked this little gem for me, my partner and our 2 year old daughter. As my better half has much higher standards than me, I'm always ready for the backlash of picking poor accommodation - I need not have worried!!! From the minute Jane gave me a friendly wave from the Kitchen window as I arrived, It was clear that the owners were very genuine, quickly introduced to Ian, they both made such a fuss over our wee girl and put us at ease straight away. What sticks out above anything else is Ian and Jane's eagerness to please the guests and nothing was too much hassle, Rooms were immaculate (so much so, the partner didn't even open up her anti-bacs once, and that is a first!!). Our daughter was walking around in her element as if she had known Ian and Jane all her life, such was the hospitality we received. Breakfast was great and set us up for a day at the wildlife park (Best black pudding around!!!). All in all, we really couldn't have made a better choice - Thank you Ian and Jane for a great break - And we will be back to get the rest of those wildcats!!! Keep up the good work and good luck in the future.

Room Tip: Do not miss the wildcat trail if you go with Children. Though I think me and my partner might have e...

Excellent Bed and Breakfast establishment, a real home from home. First class accommodation with immaculate facilities and extremely good breakfast. We visited on our way North and also on our return South. Ian and Jane are charming and very attentive hosts who go out of their way to make you welcome. Highly recommended and will definitely go back.

Room Tip: All the rooms are immaculate, comfortable and tastefully decorated.

We spent great 7 sunny hot (not usual as we learned) days in July 2013 in the Clune House. Jane and Ian perfectly contributed to this great stay. Very nice conversation, awesome breakfast, helpful trip advices, all we need to get a great impressions of Scottish hospitality.
Nice equipped and comfortable rooms, parking place and Wifi inclusive, real 4star level.
We used the Clune House as base for day trips (e.g. Loch Ness, Loch an Eilean, Balmoral Castle). Also Newtonmore offers great views (Wildcat walk), nice restaurants and coffeehouses. We enjoyed the time in Newtonmore very much. Thanks a lot to Jane and Ian.

We stayed at Clune House over the festive period. Jane and Ian made us very welcome in their beautiful home. Our spacious bedroom was spotlessly clean and warm, beds were very comfortable with crisp white bedding and lovely fluffy white towels. Wonderful breakfast and beautiful table settings. Jane and Ian are very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to look after us during our stay, even giving us a lift to our friend's home at the other end of the village! We have stayed in many B&Bs and this is definitely a favourite, which we would strongly recommend.
