My husband and i have visited serpent mounds park before and after we got married several times. we even took our first born there 2 years ago. He was 3 and he had a blast. we try to go at least once a year. we have stayed near the waterfront by the beach and also inside the park closer to the showers. both camping with a tent. Its beautiful in the mornings when you wake up to the sound of the water and the birds. the showers are better then average parks for sure.. washrooms are clean. they have a restaurant there just by the gate and we have enjoyed many a breakfasts and meals there for sure. we rent a boat from whispering pines up the street..the owners are Awsome ..so kind and friendly.
I have many pictures and great memories of this park.
its a definite got to try for camping. they also have a little museum and more hten one beach, firewood, fire starter, basic needs and keene is close by if you need something..
