“Wouldnt go back.”

Under staffed on a busy holiday weekend, there were no pizzas being made when they were advised outside the café and inside, no kids menu asked for a adults main to be spilt for the kids and was told this was no trouble by counter staff, only to come to our table and be told they cant spilt nachos "its to hard"! cold sausage roll in the middle even tho we had asked for it to be warmed, on the up side the pasta of the day, was very nice. Would not go back.

“Super service and coffee”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2014

Stopped both ways to and from Queenstown, lovely sunny spot right on the roadside by the Cromwell Bridge.
Friendly staff, great muffins and super coffees to Go....all with a smile and reasonable prices.
Fruit shop added extras for the car trip.

“Nice meal in Cromwell”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 April 2014

Found this on Tripadvisor and we just wanted a quick but decent meal. I had a pizza and my wife had a salad. The wine was excellent. Perhaps a touch pricey for what it was but the food was good and service was quick.

“Great cafe, beautiful views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2014 via mobile

The Cider House is well located just before you enter Cromwell, in a complex with a fruit shop and boutique larder. Sit outside and enjoy the views and sun. Drink the fabulous Wild Earth cider and enjoy the friendly service. We came here regularly during our South Island holiday and are sad to be leaving.

Love coming here. Fantastic pizza and other food. Friendly staff and love the cider with fruit juice. Very accommodating to kids, and dogs (outside) so a great place to take in when you take the dog for a walk!! Lovely setting with heaps of great outside area to soak up the sun.
