“Cosy while outside is bleak!”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 via mobile

Lovely Cosy cafe, relaxed atmosphere and busy. Food tasty and fresh. Coffee amazingly good but competes with the hot chocolate for top spot in my choice of beverage. Good wine and craft beer list as well. You will enjoy.

“Best Risotto ever”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

4 of us went here for lunch today. Two had squid salad, one had risotto and one had a bacon buttie.
My husband is a great risotto fan and he said it was one of the best he has ever had and that is high praise indeed from him, who eats risotto just about every where he travels!!

The squid salads were yummy as well, however...I wasn't so certain about the bacon buttie. It is one of the favourites with their customers apparently, so Im probably just being picky. Im not saying it wasn't tasty, Im just saying, don't be "cheffy" with a bacon buttie!

It's served here on two small ciabatta buns. I would have preferred to have mine served between two slabs of white bread (could be ciabatta, I don't mind) with lots of tomato sauce or chutney.
Im just saying! Very friendly service. Overall we will definitely be back.

Reviewed 1 July 2014

Friendly little cafe and casual night time dining on Fridays and Saturdays. Arron, Annette and The Team have created a great place to drop in for a coffee and cake, lunch or a glass of wine and of course casual night time dining on Friday and Saturday nights. Your are well aware that you are sampling great fare from expericenced chefs. Try the desserts Yum!!

“What a top little spot!”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

My brother introduced us to this little gem - we only wished we lived closely so this could be our "local". Great service and delicious, wholesome, homemade food - just loved it and can't wait to visit next time we're in NZ!

“Cute little gem.”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

We stopped by for coffee and a snack on our way out of Bannockburn. There was delicious coffee and a huge number of tasty treats to tempt one. I definitely recommend stopping by this unpretentious little cutie.
