Tucked away in a depressingly dated town mall, the Cromwell museum is a little gem. Good quality and informative exhibits are complimented by genuine and friendly people at the front desk. It's not big, but well worth a visit if you're passing by Cromwell.

Popped in to see the new display and I was impressed. There is a new display depicting "How we Got Here" . Giant photos are displayed on the walls and there is a very dinky real vintage car and motorcycle. Well done to the volunteers who have made this a evolving museum.

Where do you go when you want to learn the history of somewhere, the local museum, the man on duty was really helpful, filled in the bits that the displays didnt tell you, pictures on the walls told stories. Well worth the visit and entry fee is only a donation.

We called in as we strolled by, very surprised at the displays and the staff member that introduced herself and told us the history of Cromwell was very pleasant and a wealth of information.
There is no cost to visit however there is a donation box for visitors to use.
The most enjoyable personalised museum visit I have ever had.

Although displays still a work in progress in some areas it was very enjoyable viewing the history of the area. My special pick was the display of McNulty glassware
