Ww found our way - with a good map it is easy - and the travel along the gravel roads are worth the effort. It is a wondeful place and what a lodge. We were the only couple there and could choose which room we wanted. We got the big room upstairs with amazing view over the little pools with birds and frogs, and could see zebras, impalaes and ostrich from our room.
The room has high ceiling - great kingsize bed and is tadetfull decorated.
Dora and her husband Frans are perfect hosts, and even her son i law was there to take of us.
Dora took us on a litlle drive to some wall paintings cloise by - amazingly 1000 years old or more.
Dinner was served on the veranda at the fireplace - a 3 course meal with wine - coffee and it was perfect. What a lovely evening.
Do I have to say that it is so quiet out there - exactly what you need after a long day on gravel roads to Rorke's Drift and the other hostorival sites around the battlefields.
Breakfast was well cooked and again Dora was there to take care.
Dora and her family are so kind and knows a lot about the area, born right there and now runs this little paradise out there in the bushland. Wonderful.
Thank you Dora & Frans.
