“Voted with my feet and went back for more”
Reviewed 12 March 2014 via mobile

We stopped first for a breakfast, and then came back twice for lunch. The carrot and ginger soup, French toast, hoppers with fruit, wrap and rice and chicken curry were all good and reasonably priced.
We may go back again tomorrow

“Good coffe, lovely food, beautiful jewelry”
Reviewed 5 February 2014

Very surprised to find a cute little cafe on the road to the temple just out of the centre of the little beach side of town of Unawatuna. Fantastic coffee - which is rare in Sri Lanka! Lovely wraps and cakes made by Shazna. And also - great music! Ahamed Mubarak also makes beautiful jewelry.
A sweet find!

“Great Coffee!”
Reviewed 3 February 2014

This cafe makes really good coffee. Good tasting coffee is hard to find in Unawatuna! It was so good I had 2 cups! Not only that - the cook (Shazna) makes delicious tasting wraps also. It is a little off the beaten track but worth the find. As you are coming from the main road at Unawatuna you veer right at the main fork where the old man has his jewellery stall. If you veered left it would take you to the main part of the beach. Sweet staff and also great music too.

“Delicious Freshly Cooked Food”
Reviewed 26 January 2014

The food that we ordered, curry and rice, albeit simple, was cooked perfectly, and we could tell that it wasn't done in a hurry as it did take a while to be served. And the result was telling as it tasted great!

The waiting staff was kind to offer us some Sri Lankan Chutney to help us through the waiting time. Thumbs up on this little gesture!

“Best place to eat in Unawatuna”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

Delicious food, freshly prepared and great value. The menu is unlike and much better than the generic beachside restaurants and offers varied and quality dishes, The red prawn curry is amazing, as is salt and pepper squid. A real find in a resort that is full of bland and average places to eat. (try the cakes too!)
