my family had a great meal at El Marquez. it doesn't look like much from the outside, but do yourself a favor and go in and eat. very good selection of meat, fish, pasta. My wife and i both had sea bass, mine with a white wine & shrimp topping, and my wife's with garlic and butter. both were outstanding. the kids had pasta w/ chicken, and shrimp. the waiter was very nice and helpful, and the wine selection was adequate. over 8 days in Costa Rica, this was our best meal. i went there because it was a Fodor's choice restaurant, and it was definitely a great choice!
