Food was on the cheap side but not nearly as cheap as nearby Soda La Salvadita which was cheaper and excellent. Rice was burntish, plantains overcooked, fish OK. Service was fine, they had some American girl working for the Costa Rican owner. The place was recommended to us by our hostel owner, who turns out is the restaurant's daughter. Food is fine but would recommend finding someplace else.
