Just returned from Hotel Milenij and we (family with a 9 and 12 yr old) all want to go straight back!!
What a lovely, clean friendly hotel! The staff are the friendliest hotel staff and make such a genuine effort with their customers, especially children. Will also have a bit of a laugh which is just what you need when on holiday. Room 201 was ok, lovely big bedrooms, spotlessly clean and amazing view of the mountain (if you look upwards). Very comfortable beds and relaxing jacuzzi bath (if you need more soaking after a day in the sea and the hotel pool), the kids had to try it out. The hotel pool was just perfect for the kids, they loved it, small but never crowded.
Good choice of food at breakfast - cooked breakfast, cereals, pastries, fruit, toast, ham, cheese, yoghurt, tea, coffee, juices - plenty to choose from. We were half board and evening meals were very enjoyable - hotel staff made a great deal of effort to feed 3 vegetarians different meals every day, always asking what we would like to eat - this was never too much trouble. Lovely with the kids too.
As for Baska Voda itself, what a truly beautiful place to stay! We went at the end of May so it was still quiet, just perfect for us with long, clean beaches fringed with pine trees and crystal clear turquoise water....stunning.
Top tips; Definitely take a snorkel, lots of beautiful fish and sea shoes to protect feet against stones and sea urchins.

Room tip: Rooms with side view of sea on higher floors have amazing views of the mountains.

Usually we don't visit the same hotel twice but with Milenij we decided to repeat our stay and I'm glad it worked out good again (for more details about the hotel please see my review 2011).

The simple reason we came back: it is convenient stay with small kids.

This time we had an apartment (4A) on the 4th floor (partly sea / mountains view) with 2 bedrooms / 2 balconies, living room/kitchenette (it is an internal room).

The hotel is well maintained (rooms are cleaned daily), with very friendly staff (all remembered us from the first visit and made our stay as comfortable as possible).
Since Milenij has own restaurant it is the easiest way of having meals there as well as with an additional bargain (due to daily offers and discount for the hotel guests).

Own garage, a swimming pool, bar, beach pizzeria and overall location add to Milenij points and make this hotel as the most convenient in Baska Voda.

p.s. Also, my reco re transfer from Split Airport (SPU) (offer from the hotel was too expensive)
Taxi Split Airport (JamTransfer.com) <info@taxisplitairport.com>, reliable, reasonably priced service we used both ways.

Very satisfied with the Aparthotel Milenij. Great location right on the beach, ok rooms with good airconditioning and bubblebath, excellent caring service, a surprisingly great pizzarestaurant in the hotel, swimmingpool with freshwater which also got changed during our stay, and a cheap and good breakfast with i e egg&bacon served within 5 minutes.

What a great place. Hotel is right on the beach. Spacious and very well maintained. It is getting a little dates and I do recommend TV's in the bed rooms not just living room. The breakfast is her good and worth the extra cost.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday staying at the Aparthotel Milenij. As a family of four with two teenage daughters, we were very pleased with the accommodation provided. We were in one of the apartments where the kitchen/living area did not have windows but this did not reduce our enjoyment as we spent little time here anyway. If we did return to the apartment, we would sit on our balcony or relax on the bed. The pool, bar and restaurant were all excellent and the staff could not be more helpful. They were always friendly and willing to help us with whatever was required. We found the location excellent too, as it was at one end of Baska Voda so not as busy as the other areas. Most evenings were spent sitting in the bar, enjoying a beer and looking at the excellent views across to Brac and Hvar islands. Walking into the main area of Baska Voda was very easy - 5 minutes - where there are plenty of restaurants and bars.

Room tip: Try and get a room at the front overlooking the sea!
