“Cool view and cool entrance!”
Reviewed 7 September 2013

Our room was clean and had a great view of the countryside away from the town. We could watch rock climbers from our room. It had free wifi. The entrance to the hotel was through a really cool cave-like tunnel and up in a glass lift to show the view of the surrounding area. Very James Bond!
The walk to and from the town was lovely and the town itself was lovely to walk around. It felt very much like this is where the Croatians go on holiday which was rather refreshing compared to other places.

It begins with a walk down a tunnel and then a ride up an elevator carved through the rock. And then glass revealing a spectacular view up the River Cetina. Tunnel and elevator bear witness to the owner's commitment to making this hotel a wonderful experience for his guests.

The view toward the town and the sea is equally spectacular. There could be no finer way to end a day than to sit sipping some travarica on the restaurant terrace at sunset. Followed by a great dinner!

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful hotel for 7 nights and totally loved it! Our room (104) had a large balcony with stunning views of the river and canyon, which was perfect to sit out on first thing in the morning and watch the sun rise over the mountain!
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a good selection of food, hot and cold drinks to choose from.
The new glass walled lift also gave you amazing views of the canyon and is a far better option than climbing the 100 plus stairs!
The local beach was lovely and only 10 mins walk away with shops nearby. The crystal clear was great to cool down.
You must take a visit to Split as it's also a stunning location with loads to see and do. You can get there for around £6 one way by local bus.
Croatia is a fabulous place to holiday and I can't recommend it highly enough. Don't just take my word of it, look at all the other reviews!

Room Tip: Make sure you choose a room facing the canyon/river.

Actually we have been at this location in 2012, but i can't select this date anymore.
This Hotel is located on a rock and features stunning views over the nearby town and it's bay. Last year the elevator was not built, but without it was a good workout and the staff helped with the luggage. Speaking of staff. We never ever had a hotel in Croatia with better service/staff and all the other locations where also good to very good.
We will definitely come back.

Stayed here 2 nights in July: we could have stayed longer just to sit and marvel at the views from our rooms, breakfast balcony and the rooftop hot tub. Lift/elevator up inside rock to hotel was great fun for the kids. Staff couldn't do enough for you and we enjoyed a very good buffet breakfast. Lunch was simple but tasty: octopus Salad, Dalmatian ham etc.

We went white water rafting on the Cetina river which was lots of fun and ate in Omis both nights: recommend the top ranked restaurant on trip advisor.

Wishing to be there again.

Only downside was Omis was incredibly busy at night.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony overlooking river as you can see the gorge and the coast.

It is a perfect alternative to the stay in Split. Split can be reached within 30 minutes by cart or bus. Omis is small and picturesque village with all necessary amenities. Many choice for sea swimming and walking. Hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the center, harbor and beaches. Simple but has all you need. It is family run business and staff is very friendly. Good value for money in this location. The view from breakfast room / restaurant is amazing.

Room Tip: Any room. Some rooms have balcony

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and had a brilliant time. We had a room with a balcony and the view was stunning. The staff were very friendly and there was a real family atmosphere to the place. Omis is a busy little town and there are many places to eat although we often stayed at the hotel as the food was great. Omis has a great beach and lots of things to do, we went climbing and rafting which the hotel helped arrange for us, both were excellent fun! The rooms are fairly compact but very clean and well looked after and the hotel has alot of character and charm. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Room Tip: Choose a room with a balcony if you can.
