We visited Villa Skura as 2 families each with 3 children. There was ample space with two of our girls sharing a sofa bed in one of the rooms. Anita greeted us with wonderful fruits and vegetables from the garden and provided some wine and soft drinks. She was very generous and welcoming.
Although connected to the owner's property, the pool and outside area is not overlooked at all. The summer kitchen is fabulous and meant we could cook outside each evening while the children played in the pool. The whole house is newly decorated and very well equipped.
The location is great, a short drive down to Omis. Older children can try out rafting and the zip wire and there are some fabulous nearby beaches. Omis beach and the immediate areas were very busy late July/August but along the coast there are many quieter, pretty bays with crystal clear waters (take snorkels!). We also hired our own boat and headed over to the islands, stunning too.
Anita recommended the village restaurant near to Villa Skura and we had a fabulous evening there. They were able to cater for vegetarians and were very welcoming and keen to offer us a range of good food.
If it weren't for our keeness to visit a new country every year we would definitely return!
