Dinner at Cap de Castel is a must every time we visit the region! We have dined here in summer, winter and spring, and it has been a wonderful experience every time. In summer, you have a gorgeous view from the terrace; in winter, there is a cozy log fire inside. Chef Xavier's menus are based solely on fresh, local ingredients and change every season. His dishes are rooted in French cuisine but incorporate sophisticated, international flavors that make this restaurant stand out from the rest. The manager, David, is a welcoming and friendly host who speaks perfect English, French and Spanish. He will guide you through the menu and wine list and ensure the food is cooked to your liking, without any of the arrogance we sadly sometimes still encounter in this country. Prices range from € 29 for the three course menu of the day, to € 49 for an a la carte menu. As an aperitif we can recommend the sparkling wine 'coupe methode gaillacoise'. For red wine, try the locally produced "Tu t'rapel".
