We booked a short notice trip to France and were looking to spend as little as possible within reason on accommodation. This hotel came up as part of the package traveling with Brittany ferries to France. Used by many as a stop over before the early morning sailing from Ouisterham. We were a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 boys 13 & 10. They arranged a interconnecting room for us and we were delighted with what we got.

Though small the rooms were comfortable and adequate for our requirements, they are not somewhere where you would want to spend a rainy day sat inside, but to return back to and sleep no worries it was spot on. They were clean and tidy and warm. Showers were hot and beds we lush.

Continental breakfast was served in the morning with plenty to go around, you could book a dinner package as well but as we were seeing where place took us we didn’t bother. The evening meal wasn’t exactly cheap but I am unable to comment on what you got for your money as we didn’t use the facility.

You are right beside the port but it was still quiet and peaceful while we were there. It is a 5 min walk into the town and there are plentiful shops and pastries’ for the discerning food addict. Monday the town closes down as we found out to our demise, as that was the day we had played to explore it!!

Ibis Styles we have since found out are all over and budget end of the chain, but if they are all the same as this one then don’t look down on it, if your looking for somewhere to drop you bag and get out and about using it for well earned rest at the end of a busy day you wont go far wrong.

This hotel provides a perfect overnight stay for a family with kids. Although unassuming from outside, the hotel's interior is quite nice. It is clean and modern, the rooms are quite small but cleverly designed. A family suite that included two connected rooms was a comfortable solution for our family with two kids. A bottle of water in the room and tea/coffee facilities in the lobby were much appreciated touches. The breakfast was good with a nice selection of cheeses and yoghurts. The staff treated us in a friendly and professional manner. Overall very pleasant experience and excellent value.

We stayed here for 4 nights, using the hotel as a base for exploring the area. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff friendly and helpful, and although the rooms were a little on the small side, the beds were among the most comfortable hotel beds we've slept in! We have two teenagers and were given interconnecting rooms, but as both kids are still under sixteen we did not pay for them as part of our package, making it excellent value for money. No tea & coffee facilities in the rooms but there was complimentary tea/coffee/water and croissants in the lobby at all times. A colourful dining room with a surprisingly good breakfast made our stay all the more enjoyable. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Excellent comfortable beds and bedding...money well spent on refurbishment! Rooms compact but adequate for a stopover. Bar and breakfast room colourful and pleasant. Secure parking. Not far to the beach if you have a dog to walk. Breakfast acceptable although limited choice. Next to ferry terminal.

Stayed overnight here before catching the early ferry to UK.
Modern block only two minutes from terminal. Great welcome by English speaking receptionist. Room very clean and well-planned including reading lights. Good quality clean linen and though room is small, you're only here to sleep in reality.

We booked a package including to course meal for £10 each. Food and service was good and saved walking into town on foul night.

Cold Breakfast buffet was generous, well set-out and absolutely adequate.

Highly recommended and not really more expensive than a onboard cabin.

For a hotel convenient to the ferry port you can not beat the Ibis Styles. Even though in close proximity to the port, it is surprisingly quiet and peaceful.
It is a spotlessly clean Hotel with an excellent buffet breakfast - even more enjoyable when the sun shines and you can sit on the outside terrace.
The décor can be a bit "wacky" but more than made up for by the friendly staff.
We return at the end of July and are looking forward to another first class stay.
